Day 1:

Begin the journey from Iquitos, traveling by private car to Nauta, with the duration depending on the group size, approximately one and a half hours. From there, board a motorboat on the Marañón River for a three-hour journey to the Santo Domingo monitoring post (Yanayacu Pucate), followed by a trip to the Buenos Aires community. Settle in at the Explorer Camp base and enjoy lunch.

Afterwards, embark on a 25-minute boat ride to Lake Irquez de Huaylla to observe a variety of birds, including long herons and camungos, as well as river dolphins (both gray and pink). In the evening, take a ride to spot tarantula spiders and other insects or rodents.

Day 2:

Following breakfast, continue the journey by motorboat for three hours to reach Iricahua, where camping and a jungle walk are planned. In the evening, enjoy a nighttime boat ride to observe crocodiles of various sizes. Throughout the navigation, expect to see diverse animal species such as birds, turtles, potential anacondas, monkeys, and rodents.

Day 3:

Embark on a hike through the primary rainforest to discover and observe various animal species and learn about medicinal plants and trees, while practicing basic survival techniques. In the afternoon, engage in piranha fishing and other fish species, and observe river wolves. At night, take a boat ride to view nocturnal animals.

Day 4:

After breakfast, prepare for the return journey by navigating back to Nauta, where lunch will be served. Then, take a private car back to Iquitos, arriving around 6:00 pm. This marks the end of the tour.
