Begin your adventure early, around 4:30 a.m., as you head to the charming town of Cusipata. Here, you will enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on your hike.

The journey proceeds to the trailhead, where you will set off on a hike of about 6 km, surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes, herds of llamas and alpacas, and breathtaking views of the snow-capped Ausangate, the most revered mountain in Cusco.

Upon reaching the Mountain of Colors (Vinicunca), situated over 5,000 meters above sea level, you will be captivated by its vibrant natural hues, making it one of Peru’s most remarkable destinations.

Return to Cusipata to refuel with a delicious lunch before heading back to Cusco in the afternoon.
