All of this is provided in a private tour with profesional guide and private transportation. The valley between Pisac and Ollantaytambo is known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On this tour, we will drive through the mountains of the Sacred Valley, which played a key role in Inca culture and history. The Valley has a milder climate and is at a lower altitude than Cusco. You will see a succession of picturesque villages, ancient Incan terraces, and the most important archeological sites. The tour ends in Cusco approximately 6:30 PM. Upon arrival in Cusco we drop you by your hotel.

This Sacred Valley tour offers the most comprehensive view of the Cusco region. The valley between Ollantaytambo and Pisac is known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On this tour, you’ll drive through the mountains of the valley, which has a milder climate and is at a lower altitude than Cusco and which played a key role in the culture and history of the Incas.
In just 1 day you’ll visit the most important archeological sites of the region including Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. As well as the famous circular terraces of Moray and the unique stepped salt mines of Maras. Complete with your own private transport and tour guide.
- Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking and travel for all participants

- Raincoat (long poncho) during the rainy season

You can trust the MVP! They crashed!!! - My experience with the Machu Picchu Viajes Peru to the Sacred Valley was sensational! I could feel part of that wonderful Andean landscape! People, I lived unforgettable moments in Maras (the Salineiras are cinematic!), in Moray the circular terraces left me boquaiberta! The villages of Pisac and Ollantaytambo are lovely and great for making my comminhas! Finally, I recommend mostly for the attention I received from the guide, always attentive to the needs of the passengers, and for having let me stay long enough to appreciate everything! Thanks MVP!

Sacred Valley with Saul - We had a lovely day touring the Sacred Valley with Saul! He was so knowledgeable and nice to talk to, and taught us a lot about the Incan sites we visited. We highly recommend booking a tour with him and the company!

Amazing 1 day private tour - This was an excellent day tour. Our guide, Sandro, and our driver, Ernesto, were both excellent. We were picked up at about 8 o’clock at our hotel in a luxury van. Through the entire tour, Sandro explained everything so clearly. We asked a ton of questions and he was so informative! Ernesto was a great driver. Got us every place safely. Highly highly recommend!

So much to see!! We loved it. - We enjoyed our visits to all the sights- especially the Salt Mines and Morey! Honestly they were all great. Lunch was a delicious buffet, though interestingly our group was split across three restaurants- based on the booking platform I believe. Anyway - be warned it is a looooong day, and the roads are bumpy and windy. If you tend towards car sickness, bring some meds!

Perfectly comfortable day trip to the Sacred Valley - 5-point evaluation. The itinerary was very reasonable, included the famous sights of the Sacred Valley and took us to the train station on time. The guide, Mr. Sandro, is very enthusiastic and explains the local history and culture well

Excellent Experience, Excellent Guide, Highly Recommend! - Our family loved this tour! We opted for a private tour since our daughter is 7 years old and we typically like to look at sights quickly. Our guide, Sandro, was fantastic. His English was excellent, he shared a ton of interesting information with us at each stop and was a joy to have as a guide. My daughter asked to do another tour with him (unprompted) because “he really understands kids - he has kids so he knows”. I highly recommend this tour and Sandro!

Amazing Trip and very accommodating - There was a little car trouble in the beginning but they made sure to resolve this issue very quickly to begin the trip. Domingo was very informative, patient, and very accommodating to our limited mobility needs!! The highlight of the trip was going to the alpaca farm and learning how to make the alpaca garments!! The restaurant had amazing food and great entertainment! I would recommend this excursion a lot especially for people who may have limited mobility but still want to see all the fun sites!

I gave a 4-star review only because our guide’s English was very primitive.

Private Tour to Sacred Valley - I am an experienced traveler who has taken many guided tours before. The description of the sites was basically accurate, however, we booked a private tour with an English-speaking guide and his English skills were below what we expected and he was at times difficult to understand. He was a poor communicator and took little interest in engaging in conversation with us. His knowledge was conveyed robotically as though from a script. As an alternative I would have preferred to arrange my own transportation and taken my information from the signage. As it was I felt rushed and did not have time to read the signs. Of the four sites we visited only Ollantaytoma and Pisac were worthwhile. Travel between sites on long and bumpy roads should be clarified in the tour description. At the end of the tour the guide was rude and dismissive. If the guide had been personable I would have rated the tour a four.
