Puno – Chivay – La Calera (Hot Springs)

Colca Canyon - Embark on a tour of the Colca Canyon and experience the breathtaking views of one of Peru’s most stunning natural wonders.

Colca Canyon - At 6:10 a.m., a local guide will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to begin the journey to the Colca Valley. Along the way, there will be brief stops at Lagunillas for birdwatching, including Andean birds, flamingos, Andean geese, and seagulls. A technical stop will be made at Patahuasi. The next stop is the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where you can photograph llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas.

Abra Patapampa - The tour continues to Patapampa, also known as the Mirador de los Volcanes, situated at 4,910 meters above sea level. From here, you can view significant snow-capped peaks, including Misti and other volcanoes.

La Calera Thermal Waters - At 3:00 p.m., visit the hot springs of La Calera, where the thermal baths or pools contain therapeutic water exceeding 40°C.

Chivay – Yanque – Cruz del Condor – Colca Canyon

Colca Canyon - After breakfast at your hotel, at 6:00 a.m., guests are picked up to start the excursion to the Colca Canyon, Cruz del Cóndor, and witness the condors in flight. The itinerary includes visits to the traditional and historic towns of Yanque, the church dedicated to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, local crafts, and the representative dance of Colca Wititi.

Chivay - The return to Chivay includes a stop in Maca to visit the Santa Ana church, adorned with gold leaf altarpieces. Lunch is in Chivay before continuing the journey to Arequipa.
