• Christ The King Statue - Visit the Jesus Christ Statue. Ascend the 847 steps to reach the 32-meter-tall (105 feet) statue, one of the tallest in Asia. Its arms stretch over 18.4 meters. Construction began in 1972 and was completed in 1993. Adventurous visitors can climb to the top of Christ’s arms for a stunning panoramic view of Vung Tau city. (Fun fact: The Christ statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is only 30 meters tall.)
• The Robert Taylor Museum Of Worldwide Arms - Note: You can choose to visit this WAR-LIKE MUSEUM or the UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE (next attraction) and please specify in your booking. This unique museum, owned by a British individual, showcases weapons from the 12th century to the present, from East to West, along with military uniforms from around the world.
• Vung Tau Beach - Enjoy lunch at a local beachside restaurant, followed by leisure time at the beach.
• Hon Ba Island - A hidden gem in Vung Tau, often overlooked due to its small size, Hon Ba Island is home to the Mieu Ba Temple. Typically accessible only by boat, on the 14th and 15th lunar days of the month, the tides recede enough to walk from the shore to the island. This important religious site hosts numerous spiritual festivities throughout the year.
• White Palace - Known in French as La Villa Blanche, the White Palace dates back to 1898 and was initially a summer villa for French Governor General Paul Doumer. Named after his beloved daughter, Doumer returned to France and later became President. It wasn’t until 1916 that it was used for holidays by some Indochina-French Governors. Visitors are captivated by its all-white appearance, earning it the local name “Bach Dinh” (“Bach” means white in Vietnamese).
