An experience not to be missed. - This was an experience not to be missed. We went in April 2023 and Apple still keeps in touch with recipes and links. The setting, the food, the hospitality everything about it was just a joy. We attended as 5 adults with three children aged 13, 10 and 5 and everyone was given a dish to prepare and the best part was that we got to eat what we made. Thoroughly enjoyable from the pick-up at the hotel, shopping for ingredients at an authentic Thai market through to cooking and eating served by Apples family was magical. We all still talk about our amazing experience at the Riverside and recommend friends who are going to Thailand that this is one activity they must try out.

Perfect event!! - My husband, UWE, the passionate chef was a participant and will now report: WELL, IT WAS JUST AWESOME. Pick-up, market, menu preparation, cooking together, well guided and supported by " Apple, the smart young woman, and her two assistants, just great. One could get very brief insights into Thai cuisine. I will take home various inspirations, experiences and techniques and use them at home. Thanks again for the informative, entertaining and tasty event, gladly next year again. Highly recommended!! A must-have for those who love Thai cuisine and are in love with the wok and gas burner at home. Just awesome and delicious. Thanks again!! UWE!!

The ultimate Thai food experience! - Incredible day of fun and way too much food! Red Curry Duck, Massaman Curry, Spring rolls, Banana and chocolate Spring rolls…..so many to remember! A fantastic experience not to be missed!

Just great!😊 - We stayed in Khao Lak in April 25 with family and friends on vacation. We were already clearly keen to attend a Thai cooking class. So I searched the Internet and found the Riverside Cooking. We booked the afternoon course with market tour. I can only say just great!😊 Everything is fine and Apple our teacher super nice. She explained everything understandably and we could also ask questions at any time, which she always answered in detail. Afterwards we received a link by email where everything is explained in detail about cooking after. So I, as well as my family and our friends can only recommend the Riverside Cooking. ❤️ Loved this! 🤤 - Apple is talented & personable; great host chef for an intimate class like this! The market, the Q&A, their prep prior, the chef, her sous chefs, and definitely the dishes…all an AWESOME experience! Best food I had in Khao Lak, and everyone left stuffed!!! FWIW, those of us used to being indoor with AC, this is outdoor with fans and air flow like most experiences and dining we had in the area. Like the old adage…if you can’t stand the heat then stay out of the kitchen! ;)

Clear recommendation! - Just a great cooking class, from the shopping trip in the local market to the preparation and preparation itself. Apple is a great hostess and cook, responds very well to each individual and customizes recipes individually.

Thai Cooking Class with Apple - We stayed as a couple at Apple with 5 other participants at their Thai cooking class. A unique opportunity to dive so deeply into Thai cuisine . We were picked up from the hotel , went to a market to buy the groceries with which we later cooked together . Arriving at Apple's house in the middle of the jungle, we were warmly welcomed by a team consisting of Apple's daughter and two other girls. An open kitchen overlooking the jungle has considerably increased the appeal. Then we went to the actual cooking and here everything was explained very precisely with the individual steps to each menu we have determined before. As soon as all the dishes were ready we sat together one big table top and to eat the dishes prepared by all of us together. All in all a wonderful experience we just have to recommend "

Best Thai food ever! - We had a wonderful time at the Thai cooking class with Apple! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and guided us through the preparation of some delicious Thai specialties. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and we had so much fun while learning a lot about Thai cooking techniques and ingredients. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and authentic culinary experience!
