Amazing Ghost Tour in Old City, PA! - My husband booked a Philly Ghost tour with this company for our two adult children, me, and him on 7/6/25. We were lucky enough to land Claire as our awesome tour guide for the evening. She shared stories loaded with history - both positive and gruesome - about former doctors, socialites, and the like in Philly society in the late 1700's and early 1800's - as well as stories of continued ghostly sightings and experiences while we walked down lamppost lit streets and alleyways that both our founding fathers and their community walked so long ago. Philly feels haunted by so much rich history even during the daylight so the nighttime tour was fantastic. We were lucky to be able to see old hospitals, gravesites, and even the former home of the Washingtons. Claire was a delight, full of knowledge and very well spoken - the consummate guide. She allowed us to ask all sorts of questions, and there were moments in one alleyway (built along a former waterway that transported victims of the Yellow fever epidemic) where we felt watched by unseen forces - hairs standing up on our arms, a definite shift in the air. Claire presented all with a level of respect and reverence for the dead, presenting all stories within the context of the timeframe within which they happened. We learned so much and again, it was such a fun treat being able to experience Old City, Philadelphia in this way. Highly, highly recommend this tour if you're looking to heighten that "haunted" feeling that's ever present in Old City and learn history that the plaques and brochures there won't be likely to mention.

Amazing Experience! - Amazing tour with lots of stories you won't hear anywhere else. The past feels alive and voices are given to those who are long gone.

A Must Do in Philadelphia! - I often go on ghost tours when I’m in the States, and thought Philadelphia would be a good place to experience one - all that history, there’s bound to be some good stories, surely?! Well, even though my expectations were high, this tour actually exceeded them. Our guide, Claire, was a positive fountain of knowledge on the city, particularly its less tourist friendly side. We stopped at several buildings and places of interest, several of which had a somewhat macabre history behind them - and, I do have to point out, rather sad and tragic in some cases. What was more, she didn’t simply reel off a pre-prepared speech, but engaged with the group, encouraged questions and comments, and showed a great deal of enthusiasm throughout the tour. I have to point out as well that our tour lasted over an hour longer than scheduled due to the above, but I’m certainly not complaining! She also referred to the outcome of the War of Independence in a tactful manner (I’m British!). The ghost stories themselves were new to me, and make sure you ask to hear about the incident with the lookalike of a famous historical character, and a rather unusual case of a ghost acting as a marriage guidance counsellor … I will not say any more about either story. You’ll have to go yourselves to find out!

Great tour for ur philly experience - Wonderful and informative tour guide!! The tour itself was very informative and interesting. The tour gave us a great view of thw many beautiful areas of thw city and helped us king major historical la marks we would have never found

Excellent tour - We had Josh as our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable about both ghosts and history. Josh was also a very fun guide, my sister and I definitely enjoyed his tour. He also knew the best spots to get pictures of ghost orbs.

Great tour - Claire was our guide and she was absolutely wonderful. Very informative. Took the time to answer all our questions and gave a great overall tour mixed with spooky tales. We loved it.

Nice night tour - We were the only ones on the your so we were able to have the full attention of our tour guide. He was very nice & knowledgeable on the stories he told and we loved that he told history info as well as the ghost stories. We enjoyed seeing the sites at night as well!

Left in the cold - Tour guide canceled, which according to the tours company they are not allowed to do. We were out money for a ride into Philadelphia as well as having to stand outside for 30 minutes in the evening and cold wind. It'd been raining. When I called, the poor woman was beside herself trying to figure out what happened. Good news though is that I got a full refund that night after reaching out to TripAdvisor.
