Great Museum! - Best to take audio tour ask how it works and see Washington's Tent movie. I had issue following where to be when using audio to hear about what I was viewing.

Worth a Visit - Spent an enjoyable 2 hours viewing the Revolutionary War artifacts and informative exhibits. The Washington Tent display was excellent, although actual viewing time of the tent is just 90 seconds.

Great visit for cults and interested teens - We live in Philadelphia, but the museum of the American Revolution has been on our list for a long time. We enjoyed it very much. Not for a young kids, though it’s a lot of reading and not much that they would appreciate. We are history nerd so, it was perfect for us

This is the place if you want to get to grips with the history of the Americanrevolution. - Lots of written information to absorb, peppered with intermittent video and static displays. We thought there was too much to read and a lot of it is repeated. There is an audio tour option, but more visual or live interpretation would break up the large amounts of text which is in the same font and background throughout. More variety of information delivery would improve the overall experience. Allow at least two hours for the whole tour, but you can leave and return the same day which is a great option. There are plenty of lockers for hire so you don’t have to carry large bags around,we really appreciated this! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the limited live interpretation was delivered with clarity and heart. We loved this.

Underwhelming. Woke. Limited visitor hours. - The Museum of the American Revolution is supposed to be THE museum telling the story of the American Revolution. The museum itself is a few blocks from Independence Hall. It's actually much smaller than you would expect. With the exception of special exhibits, the collection is displayed on the second floor across multiple galleries. It tells a general timeline history before, during and after the American Revolution. The history is correct but it's dumbed down to maybe a junior high or high school level. There's a huge emphasis on a leftist-woke narrative. You know: America is and was racist from the beginning, etc. Some key parts of the American Revolution are excluded. Anyone with more than a general knowledge or understanding of the American Revolution will know more than the exhibits. The gift shop is a joke. $3 for the worst postcards I've ever seen. Worst of all, the museum closes at 5 pm. And it opens at 10 am. The hours are awful. How do you not have expanded hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, especially in the summer? I probably wouldn't return. A good YouTube documentary will tell you more.
