Walking Tour in Old City - Jonathon was a great tour guide and offered insight to not only the well known places and people, but also to less well known figures and places in Philly history.

Great tour by Tom - My mom and I joined the Philly walking tour the other day and it was a blast! Our guide Tom was awesome, you can really see his passion for Philadelphia history and the American Revolution. He was so knowledgeable, but also a great storyteller and engaging to listen to. We went to many of the major sites in Philly, like the Liberty bell, Carpenter’s Hall, Ben Franklin’s ghost house, and more. I learned a ton. Great tour!

An evening Stroll - We did the 90 minute evening walking tour of independence hall, liberty bell, and many other things. It was my 13 year old daughter and myself. Our guide was John and he was amazing! We lucked out and no one else was on our tour. John was great examining all kinds of things and answering our questions and having some great discussions. My 13 year old was able to follow along and had some questions herself! She’s hoping this helps with her exams in a few weeks. The tour was great the evening was beautiful and the gorgeous setting sun was such a beautiful backdrop for all the locations and it was such a comfortable night. Thank you John D.

Absolutely awful! Not a historical tour but a political platform instead. - I travel for work and do tours/activities all over the country - this is the first time I have ever written a bad review. I prefer to give people/companies the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were having a bad day? But this time, I had to speak up. We had an hour and a half to get a historical tour in a city whose history is absolutely remarkable. Instead, we spent the first hour literally on the same block the entire time basically listening to this tour guide’s political opinions. One of the most fascinating periods of history and this guide chose to address it in this fashion. I was extremely disappointed and could have gotten so much more out of my brief time in the area by walking through it myself. As if that wasn’t bad enough, just having knowledge and opinion of a topic doesn’t qualify one to be a good tour guide. The delivery was also disjointed and rambling with no clear direction. On several occasions, people in a tour group, some of them younger, were put on the spot by being posed questions they were unable to answer. And not in a funny, light way, but in an awkward and embarrassing fashion. (I wasn’t questioned personally, but did feel bad for those who were.)
