Badass Women’s History Tour! - What a wonderful tour! I grew up in Philly and had NO idea about most of the cool amazing women Joey discussed. Easy walk, super interesting, and well worth the time. Looking forward to taking another tour with Beyond the Bell next time we are in town.

Philadelphia history is more than George Washington and Ben Franklin - What a great tour. There is a rich history of women and LGBTQ people here that you will not hear about on the standard tours. Our guide Joey was amazing. I definitely recommend!

Life giving, inspiring tour of lesser known Philly history - Wonderful day learning more about the unsung history of women who have made Philadelphia and America better with Beyond the BellTours! I learned so much that I didn't already know and was inspired by women who saw a future that didn't exist and fought for it even when it was hard or seemingly impossible, not letting expectations or limitations of their time stop them from doing what was right and expanding possibilities for all people, especially those most marginalized in our society. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and engaging. If you're looking for something new in a place you thought you knew well, this tour is for you.

Amazing Tour, Highly Recommend - The tour was terrific. Our guide Joey was personable, very much knew the history and gave a real persective of the what people, men and women, were thinking and doing at the time of the country’s birth and after. It felt more like a great conversation instead of a lecture because our guide listened and genuinely liked responding to our reactions and questions. We came away with great sense of the city’s personality today. We will highly recommend this tour to others.

Bravo to Joey and the Badass Women he taught us about! - As part of an informal company outing, we took the Badass Women's History Tour and it was truly enlightening, inspirational and just fun! Couldn't have asked for a better guide than Joey, who was charming, warm and so knowledgeable! Since I live in the Gayborhood and have learned a decent amount, esp. about our local murals, I think I'll be back at some point to try that tour. Thank you, Joey, for the wonderful experience!
