First food tour makes us want to try more! - The food was good and we learned a lot about Philadelphia. Our tour guide Caitlin was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were sad to learn that the donut place we sampled was closed the following day on Sunday.

Great way to get to know the history of Philly - Katelyn did a fantastic job! She was personable and an amazing storyteller. She paid attention to our needs and took us to some neat spots. I especially appreciated how she gave us an overview of the tour when we started.

A confusing start … wonderful finish - Meeting place was a little confusing because on the Viator app it only listed the last location and only after the tour did I find the location we were supposed to be at on the Tripadvisor app. However, when the tour guide, Adam called us to find out where we were he gave us even a different address than what was on TripAdvisor. We missed his opening talk but met up at the first restaurant. The walk to meet up was exhausting but once we met up all that faded away. I’m not sure how we were supposed to know where to meet up and how everyone else got the right information. Strange but grateful Adam called. The first thing we ate was a piece of tomato pie. Very good and great information about it from Adam. I’m a pizza lover and I love a good sauce and that pie was special. We also had Philly cheese steak sandwich, cheese fries, pretzel, chocolate chip cookie and Whoopi pie. Wow!!! A great food tour with other wonderful guests and city history. Adam had really great information to share and was very funny. He remembered things about all of us and was very engaging. An A+ tour guide.

SHOCKINGLY THE WORST FOOD TOUR WE'VE BEEN ON - We've been on a few food tours and this was by far the worst. You would think that a food tour in Philly would be absolutely spectacular, with so many places to eat in the city. Seems like they choose the cheapest things they could find to feed you, (a bunch of bread to fill you up on). A dry pretzel, a thin pizza crust with tomato sauce (no cheese.or toppings), and a dry Philly with overcooked steak, a cookie and some kinda pie. This would all cost at most $10 on its own. Then they took us to this immaculate restaurant called "Del Frisco" to show us a safe (the restaurant used to be a bank). This was such a tease, we didn't get to eat there, just looked at the safe and stared at the patrons with envy as they devoured their amazing looking/smelling food. The terminal station on its own would have been a great, satisfying food tour. On other food tours we've been on, most of the restaurants we wanted to go back to later on to eat, and some we did, but not with this tour. This tour definitely didn't put their best foot forward in representing Philly as a foodies Paradise. I cannot understand why anyone would give this food tour anything above 3 stars. Our tour guide was great though, and very knowledgeable of the city. Overall, I would not recommend this tour if you're really looking for a good FOOD tour. This was just snacks.
