Ted was awesome! Tour was educational as well as entertaining. Perfect even for older teenagers. Both of mine loved it! Would definitely recommend!

We’ve been on a lot of different city nighttime walking tours. I think this is the most I’ve ever paid per person and I have to say it didn’t meet expectations and honestly wasn’t worth the price you’re charging. I thought I was in for a fun, scandalous, R-rated tour. But really I was bored, disinterested, and contemplating leaving the tour the about 15 minutes in. I’m honestly surprised by how negative of a review I’m leaving because this tour had 2k+ reviews and 4.9 stars, so I’m thinking it must have been the tour guide. For one I don’t think she had enough material to cover down on a 2 hour tour, because she was constantly repeating the same information and had a circumlocution speech style. She never made the point of why we stopped at that location and it wasn’t interesting information if she did. She also kept commenting about how raunchy and offensive the tour can be because of the information she would get around to telling us, but I don’t think saying a few curse words here and there qualifies. None of the information she gave us was eyebrowing raising material. Some men from another time slept around and caught STD’s because there weren’t condoms and only some people wore sheepskin intestines to act as such? Give me more than that. Lastly I know it wasn’t a good tour because she even told on herself by comparing it to her predecessor who lead the tour 10 years ago. She spoke about how that woman had the entire groups attention, the riveting information she was giving, how all the group was laughing and saying gross, and how the lady was passing around a merkin to speak about the old theater and the high value escorts in the top floor who had gotten crabs. Our tour guide wasn’t prepared because she said she had been doing this tour a year and had never purchased one to be at the same level of entertainer as her predecessor. It sounds like those people from 10 years ago had a better time than our group did last night. In closing, this tour was for entertainment purposes and left me wanting the actual entertainment. It wasn’t worth standing in the cold for 2 hours nor the funds it was used to purchase it. Consider giving Heather’s tour groups a discount of $20/person while she’s still learning how to conduct it.
