Bohol day trip experience from Cebu - An excellent day from start to finish. Well paced, with lots to see and do, but never feeling rushed. We had an excellent guide and driver. Pick up from the hotel was exactly when they said it would be. I was kept up to date through WhatsApp and my ferry tickets were sent to me the day before I travelled, exactly as promised. The tarsiers are wonderful and we even got to see one with its eyes open. The views from Chocolate Hills are stunning. Put this on your to do list now! You won't regret it.

So worth it !! We recommend 100% - It was one of the best excursions we had in the Philippines (we have been travelling here for 3 weeks and done quite a lot of these one day trips). This one was particularly amazing because the guide was so friendly and took time to give us info before each stops. The city of Bohol is very charming, neat and the locals are so sweet. Every stop on the way were worthwhile. We recommend 100%

Very enjoyable tour! - A great tour... I can't decide which activity I liked the best. JoJo was very informative, telling us about Bohol and its people. I highly recommend.

14 hour round trip of Bohol countryside great way to see and experience so much - Bohol countryside day tour Lots of travelling. So be prepared with tissues should you need the toilet. Lightweight Raincoats/poncho. as could be rainy season. We took the ferry. (1 hour from our hotel) Across to Bohol. (2 hours each way) Saw the Tarsiers. Absolutely adorable The oldest original church. Chocolate mountains. (None to eat). Just natural hills that are green during the growing season. Monuments and heard about Philippines struggles during the wars. River cruise lunch. This is approx 14 hour round trip. A really relaxed but fun day. We enjoyed it all. Next day relaxation needed

All fun , but the driver was a no show going home - The trip was fun everything went smoothly and we had a great time. The only issue we had was the boat got delayed coming back from Bohol and the driver was no longer there to pick us up to take us back to our Airbnb. I did notify the tour company and they assured us the driver would wait, but unfortunately that was not the case. Luckily I had the grab app and was able to book a ride.

I liked the tour. The... - I liked the tour. The guide gave us a lot of interesting information, both on the history and the customs. The main things to see where the chocolate hills, the tarsiers and the river cruise. The blood compact monument is a very short stop at a modern statue; the church is interesting but like many others; and at the mahogany forest we didn't stop, just went through. We spent most of the time travelling (on the boat to and from Bohol, and on the car), but that was expected. What I didn't like was that I had to wait a lot of time in the morning before taking the boat to Bohol: expected pickup was at 6 am, but actual time was shortly before 7 am, and the boat departed after 8, which resulted in almost two hours wasted waiting. With a different planning, I could have slept more :-)

Improvable - The tour guide was very friendly, but the price was high for spending 6 hours on transportation during the day…

Great opportunity to see the Tarsiers! Everything else is unnecessary. - Tarsier monkeys are fantastic! Bohol roads are narrow and congested especially after a rain. We missed our return ferry after longer than expected travel back to the port. Weather is not in any tour operator's control, but communicaiton about the alternative options is. And this was not optimal. In retrospect - the lunch on the boat is unnecessarily long and seems like a major tourist processing machine.
