Definitely rent chairs & umbrellas from Big Bastards - Booked Big Bastards rental chairs & umbrella from Trip advisor because of all the great reviews. Well this was the best, most relaxing experience we had on St. Maarten. We took the water taxi over from the cruise ship and Big Bastards was right there! Jeremy was our waiter and was excellent! If you go to St. Maarten, and want to have a full relaxing beach day with no stress, This is the place to go! Highly recommend the food also. Ordered the chicken tenders with fries- large, delicious portions! Would definitely recommend making reservations at Big Bastards if you’re on St. Maarten. I’ll be back soon !!

Fun beach excursion - Beautiful beach with location right in the center of all the action! Attentive and friendly staff with owner checking in with our group to assure we all enjoyed our time . Good food and drinks!

Wow! These owners do it right! - The two owners of this business, Marcel and Steven, are top notch. They appreciate their staff and Jason rocked being our server. I had accidently made the reservation for the wrong day and let Marcel know before the day. He assured me all would be fine which really relieved my travel tensions. The location is perfect, the deal is competitive, the staff (top to bottom) never stop taking care of the customers. They even sweep the sand off the lounges and move the umbrellas to keep you out of the sun if you wish.

Beach day - Two chairs and an umbrella on the front row right next to the water service was very good if you want food, they would bring it to you along with drinks. Prices for food and drinks are very reasonable.
