We booked this tour... - We booked this tour expecting to be a group tour but turned out to be a private tour. The agency communicated well ahead of the experience and even adapted the departure time to align with the cruise ship docking times. It was a little confusing to find the meeting point at first and the map provided was essential. The tour was led by Chiky, a vibrant lady who showed us the island with enthusiasm and humour, tailoring the tour to our specific requirements, such as a short stay in Philipsburg, which was highly appreciated. The sights were nice, and we especially enjoyed the planes at Maho beach. Bring your swim wear if you want to get in the water at any of the beautiful beaches. If we had a bit more narrative about the places we visit it would have been a perfect trip.

An amazing and very memorable tour - We had a truly amazing day exploring this stunning island on a private tour with Darean. We saw/did everything and more than we expected. It was a very memorable day with some very special experiences. Darean encouraged us to do the Moses Walk which was a fabulous and memorable experience. He kindly videod/ photographed our walk. We got to see iguanas close up and saw Orient Bay beach. We drove past Marigot bay then enjoyed the most stunning views overlooking the bay from Fort Luis! We then spent an hour at the gorgeous Mayo Beach. It was great and memorable experience to see many planes fly above our heads and landing very close by. Finally, we enjoyed yet more great views from Colebay Hill. This truly was an amazing and very memorable day and Darean made our day very special. We would definitely recommend this excellent our with Darean. It is the best!

Great company to book with!! - I booked the private tour for my husband’s birthday and I am so very happy that I did!! When we met up with Darean outside the security gate he was holding a Happy Birthday sign for my husband:) I thought that was a great touch!!! He told us a lot about the history and landmarks of the island. Darean gave us the option to make our own schedule or just go along with his. We decided to do what he recommended and it turned out to be a great day. We made several different stops, including a stop to feed iguanas. We were able to do the Moses walk, which was a great experience. Darean recommended a little restaurant for lunch and it was fantastic!! Along with stops at Maho and Orient beach and a few great lookout points. It was a great action packed day. I would highly recommend this tour especially the private tour. I think it was definitely worth the money.

Our tour was excellent - Tony is an excellent tour guide. He knows everything about the island of St. Martin. He brought us to a fantastic chocolate store. And ordered our lunch in advance, which got our food on the table as soon as we arrived and the food was superb. Tony is accommodating and a very good driver!!

Great day - We were very pleased with the tour with Damien. He was quite nice and accommodating and was willing to pick us up from the public ferry terminal (we came in for the day from Anguilla). He also dropped us off there and made some good recommendations for other things to do. His van was completely comfortable and I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting St Martin.

Fun, informative tour of St Martin - Our first visit to St Martin on a 4 day mini-vacation, and we didn't rent a car, so we wanted to see a bit of the island. The tour guide (Sorry - I don't recall his name) was extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history - it was a perfect blend of beach and other sites - Marigot, small villages, Fort Louis, "Moses Walk", Orient Bay. We were lucky in that it was a very small group - practically a private tour. Highly recommended.

Guide outstanding, but... - Guide outstanding, but the hookup procedure needs improvement. The directions provided are way too vague. We wasted limited port time trying too find our guide.

Fun Experience! - This was such a fun tour experience! The group was very small, which somehow made it better! St Maarten is a beautiful island! Love the water views but the highlight for me was standing under the planes as they were landing! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and our small group enjoyed the entired experience!

OK..but will not return. - We spent a month on the French side of St. Martin from Jan 11, 2026.. Had a simple air bnb near Friars Bay. To tell the truth, we were disappointed. The snorkeling was poor at best..which is the reason we head to the Caribbean. We found only ONE single area worth going to. If lucky, you will see various fish, turtles, squid, octopus, barracuda, a small shark and lots of the biggest Conch we have ever seen. (will not divulge that area) Most of the beaches are beautiful if lying on them is your thing. Beach chairs cost $15-$20..so bring your own! Resorts have taken over many beaches making it difficult to access them. We met people from many different countries and being from Canada, we were WARMLY welcomed at every store we went to on both the French and Dutch sides. Note..most places on the French side Parlez vous Francaise..while on the Dutch side English is common. Food was magnificent at both grocery stores and restaurants. If in Friars Bay we HIGHLY recommend 'The Gutside'. Construction refuse piles and litter are all over the island and the number of abandoned, derelict cars and trucks is astounding. Even a tour bus! Sadly, a lot of damage remains from the hurricane of 2017 also. There are a few very old Forts on the island..worth a visit. Dating back to the 1600s...Dutch, French, Spanish and British have occupied the island. Driving! People on motor bikes drive like maniacs. They drive up the middle of the two lane road and expect YOU to move over. They will drive into the opposing lane expecting the same thing! We actually saw a girl on a scooter, knock the side mirror off a rental car..and she just kept driving. We saw several others doing 'wheelies' into oncoming traffic and one partially lost control coming straight at me. The main road is a parking lot during what we call rush hour..from 4:00-6:00. Traffic jams can occur at any time though. Local drivers of cars are very courteous and will let you in if traffic is bad. The people of the island are very nice and love to tell you about it's history. There are a variety of animals roaming..Goats, cows, Horses and of course Iguanas all over, and monkeys in two areas. There is a bird sanctuary where you can go and feed various exotic birds also. A 20 min ferry trip to the British island of Anguilla is OK for a day trip..amazing beaches there. Dollar for dollar St Martin is on the lower end.
