Great Time. Enjoyed the beach and fort also. - Get to meeting point early to enjoy the beach and a fort at the hotel before the excursion. Rent a car once you get off the ship. Look for the car rental signs. Drive to Divi Little Bay Beach Resort and at the guard gate tell them you have an excursion. Park in their parking lot. Find the beach rental shop on the beach. They will log you in. Have a great time. Also, bring an underwater camera.

Sculpture snorkeling adventure - Were able to view the sculptures as well as other underwater structures with more fish species. Crew were helpful and pleasant. Snorkel equipment was well fitting and in good condition. If not staying at the Divi resort, arrange for taxi pickup 30 min after the trip ends as taxis may not be readily available otherwise, especially if not staying in Phillipsburg.

Unique St Maarten Excursion - The crew was friendly, welcoming. They provided drinks and snacks throughout the excursion as well. Highly recommend bringing a water proof camera or phone case to take pictures of the sculptures under water. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone visiting St. Maarten!

Cruise excursion trip - Visited the underwater garden while on a cruise excursion in January 2026. The water was a little rougher than shown here, which resulted in alot of sand and silt being suspended in the water, making visibility much shorter and cloudier. The water is more of a green than what is shown in the photos on Trip Advisor. This is not the easiest swim as you are dropped from an anchored boat and while you are in a 'cove', it's exposed to the southern side of the ocean, resulting in decent sized waves and swells. I would say intermediate swimming skills are needed. We used a snorkel vest, a life preserver would also assist to help hover over the statues. You might want to wait for a better season for viewing.

The location of this... - The location of this statue park is at a very busy resort, just a few meters from the coast. Since there are many boats, the water is not clear, but quite murky with many particles. Visibility on our day was not the best due to wind. The park is small; it was not a 'wow" experience for me. Organizers are friendly.

Disappointing - We take a boat to the port and after a brief navigation we arrive at the underwater park. It is well organized and supervised but only problem the water is cloudy and we do not see much so useless walk.

Extremely Disappointing: Activity Should Have Been Canceled Due to Zero Visibility - Extremely disappointing experience. We each paid $50 to snorkel over the UNDER SXM statues, but the water was so churned up by the wind that visibility was zero—we saw absolutely nothing. The activity should have been canceled. Aqua Mania was dishonest for not refunding or warning us about the conditions.
