• Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum - Explore a somber chapter of Cambodian history at the Genocide Museum. Originally a girls’ school, this site became a place of imprisonment, torture, and detention before victims were taken to the Killing Fields.
• Choeung Ek Genocidal Center - Located 45 minutes away, the Killing Fields is another key historical site of the Khmer Rouge Genocide in Phnom Penh. After visiting, the tour will return to the city for lunch.
• Independence Monument - After the Killing Fields visit, enjoy a lunch break either at the site or in the city following the 45-minute return drive. The afternoon begins with a visit to the impressive Independence Monument, symbolizing Cambodia’s independence from French colonization, which lasted from 1863 to 1953. Entry to the Park Strip is free.
• Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk - The King Norodom Sihanouk Statue is also located on Phnom Penh’s popular Park Strip. It was erected in 2013 to honor the King after his passing.
• Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Monument - The next stop is the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Monument, which celebrates the historical alliance between the two nations.
• Royal Palace - Nearby is the Royal Palace, where visitors can explore the stunning architecture and capture beautiful photographs. Note that there is no audio guide available.

• Wat Ounalom - Originally constructed in 1442, Wat Ounalom is one of Phnom Penh’s most significant temples. Entry: Free
• Wat Phnom - Wat Phnom is another major temple in Phnom Penh. Situated on a hill with an intriguing clock garden, visitors can learn about the origin of Phnom Penh’s name before ascending the steps to the temple.
• Wat Phnom Daun Penh - The tour concludes with a visit to the Wat Phnom Daun Penh Statue, commonly known as the ‘Lady Penh’ statue, located near Wat Phnom Temple. Here, the story of Lady Penh, her discoveries, and her importance to Phnom Penh will be shared.
