A superb Cambodian culinary experience!! - A fantastic experience - From buying the ingredients at a local market, preparing the dishes, and then eating what we cooked. This was a well organised event. To top it all, we were given the list of ingredients as well as the recipes, so that we can cook at home. A superb Cambodian culinary experience!!

Great way to spend a half day in Phnom Penh - I came by myself, the only guy in the class, but it was great. Everyone was friendly. The teacher very knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience, I'd recommend it for men, even if you are flying solo like me.

Great learning and enjoyful experience - Excellent service and dialogue with the team. We had a great time, learned about Cambodian cooking with a delightful host, and greatly enjoyed this experience. We recommend it. The place is marvelous and it allows us to discover the country side of Phnom Penh with a boat ride to the family's home.

An excellent experience to learn how to make great food. - This was a wonderful experience for me. I am a chef. The teacher/Sous Chef was knowledgeable and gave wonderful explanations and easy directions to follow. As a chef, she was able to answer my follow-up questions. The kitchen was well set up for a cooking class of 4. Not crowded and easy to hear and watch different procedures. I had a wonderful afternoon/evening topped off with a delicious meal that I made.

Great Way to Experience Khmer Cooking! - A fabulous way to start my Phnom Penh exploration. Chef Lom Ang Peark gave us a wonderful half day experence. We started with a tuk tuk ride to a local market, which was a cacophony of sounds, sights and aromas. It was the day before Chinese New Year, which, while not a national public holiday, is a very important day for Chinese Cambodians. We had been given our "shopping lists" and she led us from one stall to another to explore both known and less familiar ingredients. After we had gathered up our ingredients for our three course lunch, we returned to the hotel and spent a delightful hour and a half learning how to make Fresh Spring Rolls, Khmer Yellow Curry and Bananas Palm. Chef Peark was a great teacher and she gave us lots of small tips along the way. We had a lot of fun but learned a lot as well We all agreed we were definitely looking forward to re-creating the recipes (which we were given copies of, along with our "Graduation Certificates"). Highly recommend!.

Great chef and delicious traditional cuisine - Sophen is an excellent cooking teacher, rigorous and passionate. She teaches a lot of smart little techniques. It is also very effective and is by far the best curry I have eaten during my stay

It was good, but not as advertised. - You food we cooked was delicious and the market was interesting. The class was advertised as 4 hours, but was much nearer 3 hours including the time it took my fellow student and me to eat our meal. The teacher left before that.

Fun experience but could have been better - My sister & I attended the cooking class and had a great time. The chef was great at demonstrating and teaching and we got to do pretty much each step individually. There were also lots of people working there to help with any questions. The main drawback for us is that we were with a big work group of 18 people. We think they were on a team building day. So it was an odd dynamic for us and not that enjoyable to feel like we were encroaching on someone else's class. It is a shame they didn't book the class out just for them as we felt uncomfortable being there. Also given there were 20 people in the class, the pace was quite slow and there was a lot of waiting around between steps. And other than a very small welcome drink at the start, no water or any other beverages were offered throughout the whole 3 hour class. We only had the option to purchase something when eating the meal at the end. We enjoyed it but if we had known they would put us with a large group, we wouldn't have gone.
