The journey ascends through a pine forest, leading to a cliff with breathtaking views of the Cardamom Mountains Range, and descends to the hidden waterfall of Chambok Ecotourism Community. Kirirom National Park is situated on a seven hundred-meter hill, spanning over thirty-five thousand hectares in the Elephant Mountains. The name ‘Kirirom,’ meaning Mountain of Joy, was bestowed by the King of Cambodia. This high-altitude plateau is renowned for its distinctive high-elevation pine forest, which serves as the source for numerous streams nourishing Kampong Speu Town. The park is also home to many endangered animal species, including the Pleated gibbon, sun bear, and tiger, as well as a variety of forest birds.
