Fantastic - Neara was super friendly and chatty. She is very knowledgeable about Phnom Penh and took us to lots of places to eat that we wouldn’t have known about. Neara has a strong belief in family, and businesses that are run by several generations. She believes strongly in supporting the local community and this really resonated with us. Neara took lots of photos of us that she shared with us, we rarely get us all in a picture so it was nice. The food we tried was a delicious mix of different Cambodian specialties. Even my youngest daughter who is a fussy eater tried a few things. We really enjoyed spending the evening with Neara and would highly recommend.

Try this first night in Phnom Penh - Nice evening with a lot of different food. Both traditional street food and fusion modern Khmer/Western. Neara is a pleasant guide who is trying to build up his own business. She was born and raised in Phnom Penh. Brilliant to make your first night in Phnom Penh as a crash course in food and a little sightseeing. Neara has the world's sweetest tuk tuk drivers.

Don't miss it! It's worth it! - How much we have learned and how well we have had! A great tour and Super recommended. Neara is a lovely girl and she introduces you TOTALLY to the local culture. Try the noodles More typical in a super special place, being Saturday we tasted all kinds of street food in the different stalls, we met the famous Cambodian “cheese”. And we also had a final surprise: he took us to a GREAT pub for cocktails. Really, 10/10

Fun and food in a tuk tuk around Phnom Penh! - We had a fun evening with Bosakneara, touring the city, sampling local food. She was a very good host, taking the time to explain the food choices and the history of the food vendor. We stopped at a few historical sights along the way and she provided a good overview of their significance. The tuk tuk ride was fun and the driver went out of his way to keep us dry in the pouring rain. Lots of local beer and water available in the tuk tuk. My highlight was trying durian fruit ice cream. Wasn't on the planned menu but when Bosakneara learned that I'd never tried durian because of the smell, she insisted I try the ice cream - and it was delicious. This is a new business venture for her and I wish her every success. Highly recommended.

Eat like a local and get a feel for Cambodian struggle’s & resilience of the people - Neara was a delightful hostess for our first trip in PP. Even though we gave her the wrong info for our hotel pickup (didn’t know there were 2 with the same name), she was very happy to have two guests from NZ to take on an informative tour. It was pretty with all the night lights too. We were her first guests for this new culture and food tour We learnt a lot about Cambodia’s difficult history & the challenges that impacted her own parents. We drove past her parents house twice. Our favourite dish was the first stop with special noodles made in a delicate coconut soup base. We shouldn’t have eaten the whole bowl because there were plenty more dishes to try, including a stop at a street vendor to buy a delicious sweet fresh coconut pancake with cashew nuts. Then we went to a market and looked at the variety available. Neara brought fresh fruit for us to try. There were 2 other main course stops - everyday food so shared tables - don’t expect restaurant environments- this is how locals eat everyday. There was a fish paste dish which is common but we found salty, eggplant dishes and a pork/egg/tofu dish. Next stop the French bread roll was crispy - choice of BBQ meats and a sweet/sour tangy fruit & vege salad to give texture. A street vendor stop to buy dessert which was taken to our final destination on a beer street. Neara’s favourite bar had live music and we could choose which beer to try, The tuk tuk driver was great too. We can highly recommend this tour for authentic Cambodian foods. We had confidence that environments were clean and seating was at a height comfortable for us rather than on the short stools. Please support Neara in her business to make it successful.

Great start to our adventure! - What a great start to our Cambodian adventure! Neara just started her own business and knows how to take care of her clients! We were met with a smile which continued all night, come hungry as these are full portion meals with numerous plates as she wants you to experience all the things! 🥰 I mentioned I enjoyed congee so she even ordered an extra bowl just so I could try the specialty there! The night market was great- allowing us to try various things along the way ! I waould definitely recommend this tour to any one how enjoys food and looking to get situated with the city!
