Phnom Penh - Departure from Phnom Penh City. The journey to Kampot province takes approximately 3 hours.

Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple - These limestone caves near Kampot feature unique rock formations and Buddhist shrines. When visiting, ensure you bring a flashlight and wear suitable trekking shoes.

The first caves encountered in this area are the Phnom Chhnork caves. These caves contain pre-Angkorian ruins within the limestone. Among the stalagmites and stalactites, you’ll find various brick structures from the 5th century AD. There are also 4th-century structures, evidence of the Funan state. Inside the cave, limestone formations resemble elephants. The entrance to the second cave is about 300 meters from the first, requiring a climb over rocks and through narrow openings.

Salt Fields - The salt fields of Kampot are a popular attraction for both tourists and locals. These expansive, mirror-like salt pans glisten under the sun. Enjoy the sunset view at the salt field.
