Wat Phnom is a Buddhist temple in Phnom Penh, serving as a symbol of the city’s name and a significant historical site integral to the Khmer national identity.
The itinerary includes a visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which was known as Security Prison 21 under the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979.
Following this, the tour will continue to Choeung Ek, a former orchard in Phnom Penh that was used as a Killing Field by the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979, linked to the Tuol Sleng detention center.
