- The Grand Canyon South Rim is a 7,000 foot elevation, please note this if you have concerns about elevation.
- There is NOT a restroom on the van. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Arizona state law requires children under 8 years to have either a child seat or booster. Child seats are not provided, please bring your own and notify supplier
- Minimum age is 3 years and guest must inform supplier they will provide car seats or boosters.
- Wheelchairs and walkers are acceptable as long as they fold up and can be slid into the vehicle. You must let the supplier know if you are bringing either.
- We do not guarantee pickup for all hotels. Even if your hotel is on the list, there may be a chance you’ll need to meet at an alternate location. Any guest staying outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale or Tempe will be required to meet at an alternate location to be determined by supplier. Tour supplier contact details will be provided on your pre-paid voucher.
- Supplier is not responsible for road or viewing conditions due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
- You must let the supplier know if there are any mobility concerns that they should be aware of.
- FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Any tours booked after 7:00PM Arizona time the night before the tour date might not be confirmed. You will likely have to meet at another hotel for pick up. Our office will contact you prior to 6:00am on the tour date.

Recommended day trip - A long but amazing day trip to see the magnificent Grand Canyon in luxury style. Jordan was a great host, very knowledgeable and engaging - and fun. We highly recommend this trip!

Awesome time! Ask for Vince!!! - I had Vince as a tour guide and he was the best! You definitely should ask for him! Very considerate and gave so many fun facts throughout the tour and he was so extremely nice! Had a great time !

Highly recommend Detours tour company! - Couldn’t have asked for better weather, a better tour guide or a better destination. Tracy was full of knowledge, fun and he handled awkward situations very well (guests arriving late back to the van/bus at stops). Tracy had given us clear instructions about our timeline for the day- where he was expecting us to return, etc at every stop. Six of the eight of us were on time and in the right location without issue.
Clean comfortable vehicle with big windows for seeing all the sights. Incredible day and will definitely recommend Detours!

Flexible Company with knowledge of the area who cares about your desires for a perfect trip! - Our small group tour with Aldo to the Grand Canyon was excellent. Aldo was very flexible and designed our tour specifically to our needs. My wife and I had 2 teenage foreign exchange students with us from Germany and Spain. Chances were this would be the only time they would be close enough to experience the Grand Canyon. Aldo suggested the eastern rim which is a little further of a drive but much less crowded than the south rim. Aldo pointed out many interesting sights along the way and he was quite engaged in our interests. It was a beautiful day and our experience could not have been more enjoyable. Thank You Aldo!

You get to really know a... - You get to really know a lot about Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Great Experience! - The experience was great! Be prepared to be on a bus for a few hours there and back but it was not bad at all. We packed our lunch and water but Mark Lane provided water and told us where we could grab lunch once we stopped at the Grand Canyon if needed. Mark was also very knowledgeable about what we saw on the drive up and extremely helpful with any questions! I highly recommend this tour if you are ever in Phoenix.

Great day! - The guide was informative about the ecology along the drive both directions. Would recommend that anyone with physical limitations not do the entire Rim Trail if you want time to shop and eat. Would have been nice to know about the trail with the shuttle bus. Did not know that was an option. Overall the guide was good.

Good tour, especially for solo travelers. - Having not to drive was the best thing about the trip. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the essential requirements, including pick up and drop off times. The guide was friendly and helpful to the passengers, although the constant banter and “dad jokes” were rather annoying after a while. The bus itself was very clean and comfortable and had working phone charging jacks behind each pair of seats. I also appreciated the free time and options, such as helicopter rides, offered by the company.

This tour was a good use of my time, it can be better, - I think this tour is very good if you have one full day -13 hours. Tour Bus is not best quality. Tour guide is average, does not respect quite time for tourist, he has a desire to talk a lot.
