Awesome day in the Grand Canyon - Had a great day on this tour. Learned and saw so much! Mark was a great tour guide! I would recommend this tour to all ages. If you want hike the angels pass you have about 3 hours at the canyon. The views and stops alone are very worth the price. Sedona is also a great stop to get dinner, just relax and take in the views!

Arizona Wonders + Engaged Teens = Total Win! - 🌄 Amazing Grand Canyon & Sedona Tour with Detours and Mark Lane We took a full-day tour with Detours of Arizona, and it was an amazing way to experience a small part of what the area has to offer! Traveling with my two teenage daughters (17 and 18), we were picked up on time in NE Phoenix in a clean, comfortable van. We had been notified the day before that our tour had been upgraded to include Sedona—a fantastic surprise! Our guide, Mark Lane, was knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly engaging. As we left Phoenix, he shared fascinating stories about Arizona’s history, geology, and wildlife. His storytelling made the drive fly by! 🛣️ Smooth Logistics & Comfort • 12-hour door-to-door itinerary • Regular rest stops every 60–90 minutes with clean bathrooms • Comfortable van seating (sun-facing side can get warm—bring a scarf or shade) 🗻 Grand Canyon Highlights We made three scenic stops, including time for lunch. Mark’s safety briefing before arrival was thorough (stay away from the edge—and don’t feed the squirrels!). 🌵 Sedona Experience Approaching Sedona, the views were breathtaking. We stopped in the tourist area for shopping—though it was hard to tell which items were handcrafted versus mass-produced. I felt safe letting my daughters explore solo. We also stopped for photos at beautiful Bell Rock before heading back to Phoenix. 👍 Highly Recommended Mark even won over my teenagers, which says a lot! I absolutely recommend Detours and Mark Lane for an unforgettable day of sightseeing, storytelling, and stunning landscapes.

Definitely Go on this Tour - This tour and the tour guide were fantastic. The tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, played great music, and always made sure we were comfortable and having fun. He even speaks 8 languages! We visited some of the most beautiful places in the Grand Canyon (places that most tourists don't know about). We also went to some other hidden gems. I highly recommend this tour.

Great Tour, even with jet lag - Had a great tour today. Han was very knowledgeable and inclusive of everyone. The pictures you see of the Grand Canyon don’t do it justice and I would highly recommend this tour. It’s a must do!

Worth The Cost (Repeat Customer) - It’s a BUMPY ride even in the newer van we had. Weird no pockets or cup holders on the seats? A vehicle designed for road trips? I thought it would have been nice to introduce ourselves, where from, etc in the very beginning of the trip. It would have created some comraderie from the start within our group. Also he never solicited questions from the group. His monologue was okay. I’ve had drivers with a bit more personality but that didn’t really affect the experience. One passenger was late getting back to the van EVERYTIME we stopped and the driver did not handle it well. At one point you could tell he was mad because he drove too fast and passed unsafely twice. I’m not certain of policy but she should have gotten a warning or something for inconveniencing everyone. He took us to good stops and we got plenty of pics and had about the right amount of time at each place. You are allowed to bring snacks/drinks and I recommend it. Stops up are few and quick and you don’t want everyone else waiting on you! Once you get to the rim, there are several food options but they take time away from your short visit there. Plan accordingly. This was our third trip to GC with Detours and I would recommend it. It is worth the price to have someone else drive and go directly to the best spots. Not needing to park every time is huge!
