For settings where conveying the feeling of the moment is important, a 14-35 mm focal length lens is suggested. These wider lenses effectively provide landscape context. However, to capture the moonrise optimally, a telephoto lens is recommended. Many camera phones have excellent zoom capabilities for such occasions.
The main subjects will include Joshua trees, monzogranite rock boulders and outcrops, various cacti, moonrise, and sunset.
Please note that drive time is not included in the duration of the activity.
