• Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan - Constructed in 1324, Wat Phanan Choeng predates the establishment of Ayutthaya’s capital by 26 years. The temple’s large hall features a seated Buddha image measuring 19 meters in height and 20 meters in width at the lap. Made from bricks and plaster, the Buddha is coated with black lacquer and gold.
