to do absolutely!! - excellent experience above all expectations .. accompanied by a military jeep by the very nice Lee on a beautiful beach. starfish in large quantities and crystal clear water helped make this day memorable. Lee made us eat some very good local produce and stocked with plenty of water and beer. excursion highly recommended!!

Perfect trip to starfish beach - We had such a lovely trip with Lee and poo! We were picked up from the hotel in a luxury jeep and driven to the crossing point for starfish beach, Lee is a lovely person and we had good conversation about many things, we had a good crossing and a delicious lunch on the beach. The swimming, snorkelling and seeing the starfish was perfect and the timing was great, up to us and very relaxed. Thanks again Lee we would highly recommend this trip to anyone, in fact we have! 😊

Excellent - What an amazing day, Lee our guide couldn’t do enough for us providing us with tasty food, fruit and drinks. Lovely and personal as only 4 of us and paradise when you arrive at Starfish Beach. Definitely recommend

Can’t fault it - go - Amazing day. Lee was our guide and so friendly and helpful. Starfish Beach was beautiful and we had an area to ourselves, only 4 of us on the trip so it was really personal. White sand and crystal clear sea, loads of starfish and swimming. Lunch was great, all fresh and Lee got us deckchairs and more beers. Best day and trip we have had on Phu Quoc wish we had booked it earlier we would have gone again. Thank you Lee.

What a wonderful day - Picked up in a 1960s Army Jeep laden with fruit , cashew nuts , spring rolls and Beer ! Took a short drive to the boat where we sped off across the bay to “ Starfish beach” a white sandy beach that in some areas looked like it was our own deserted island. Starfish beach is part of a protected area so has no buildings , elector lights and staying the night there is prohibited so by 6pm the place is completely deserted. We spent a couple of hrs snorkelling along side a fair amount of fish and countless Starfish…hence the name, then sat on the soft sand and enjoyed a few cold beers, de shelled some of the biggest Cashew nuts I have ever seen and devoured a huge tray of Watermelon, pineapple and that our Guide Wee Wee had spent the last 29 mins preparing for us. This along with some delicious Vietnamese prawn and pork spring rolls completed one of the nicest lunches we have enjoyed since arriving in Phu quoc. We jumped back on the boat at 2pm and headed home. Wee Wee was very easy to talk to , extremely knowledgeable on the subject of the island and Vietnam in general and his English was excellent. 10/10 for this trip , would highly recommend

4h Starfish Beach with excellent guide - A great tour with plenty of free time at Starfish Beach. After picking up from the hotel we went to the harbour of Starfish Beach and from there on a small boat to a perfect stretch of beach where you have 4 hours to look at the starfish, bathe and relax. Our guide Huy did an outstanding job, he explained a lot to us about the island of Phu Quoc and on the island he also had snacks, drinks and a small lunch ready, besides music and a lot of information, which he explained to us great.

Everything done right :) - Highly recommended! :) I joined this tour together with my parents, and we were absolutely thrilled. We were specifically looking for a non-guided experience away from mass tourism – and fortunately, we found this one. Our guide is a truly kind-hearted person with an incredible amount of energy. :) He entertained us wonderfully and served fresh fruit, nuts, and homemade spring rolls – plus chilled beer. Everything was fresh and delicious. The tour itself was definitely the right choice. It gave us a beautiful memory of Phu Quoc Island. We visited a secluded stretch of beach with an unbelievably idyllic view. With hardly any other tourists around, we were able to enjoy many relaxing hours by the sea. I can truly recommend it to everyone! :)

Beautiful trip & amazing guide! - We had such a great experience at Starfish Beach. It ended up being just me and my partner on the tour, which made it feel super personal and relaxing. Our guide, Tong, was amazing — really friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole day fun. The beach was stunning and we got to see so many starfish up close. Definitely recommend!

Absolute Bliss - We had the best experience on this tour. Tong was so incredibly wonderful and his English is perfect. I’ve never seen so many starfish in my life. 10/10 recommend!

A little overrated - We hired a taxi for a half day and decided to check out this area as part of our outing. The driver was recommended to us by our hotel and it's a great way of doing things especially with google translate and what's app. The beach was nice and very relaxing for a couple of hours. We were able to rent a couple comfortable lounge chairs and umbrella for 50k. The beer was cold and available on the beach and cheap. We still had to pay 300k each for a boat to take us over but had difficulty contacting him in getting back. Wifi was not great there. The saddest part was watching the Asian tourists picking up the starfish and tossing them or getting their Instagram photos which ends up killing them according to my own research. There is no signs up telling people they shouldn't touch them. Not sure signs would work anyway. We didn't eat at the restaurant after. We felt they were a little pushy and we weren't sure of the cleanliness so decided to move on. Been there, done that.
