A perfect Phu Quoc sunset cruise with great food and unique night squid fishing - I had a wonderful half-day experience exploring Phu Quoc from the water. The cruise set off just in time for one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen on the island—soft golden light reflecting across the sea while we relaxed on the deck. The onboard BBQ was a pleasant surprise with fresh, flavorful dishes served hot. The night squid-fishing activity was a fun and unique highlight. Even if you are not an expert, the crew guides you patiently and makes the whole experience enjoyable. The atmosphere on the boat felt warm, friendly, and easy-going, which made the trip even more memorable. Overall, this tour is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing sunset, good food, and a bit of local adventure. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and groups alike.

Enjoyable night experience for the price - Overall enjoyable trip. It rained while we were out there but that just added to the experience. No one caught any squid with the devices they gave us (basically a string with a plastic lure). An employee caught a couple using a fishing pole. Hotel pickup was convenient. After fishing, which stopped at 750, we ate a basic dinner (congee, ramen, and some shrimp) while headingbl back. Got back to the pier around 830

Highly recommend - Had an amazing evening with this company very nice and friendly guide and amazing food . Not going to lie you have to be patient to catch a squid but guys lemme tell you it was an amazing experience!

Impressed wit the good & efficient services + professional staffs - Very good staffs and helpful, pick up & drop off arrangements were great, professional arrangement on boat with details technical demonstration of how to catch squid... The good service even convinced us to book another trip for islands & cable car on next morning during our 1st night visit with John's Tour... and the staffs can immediately help us arrange & confirm our last minute request. Really appreciated. Highly recommend John's Tour and we plan to come back again next year, will meet you again. 4 days is not enough as Phu Quoc really have too many attractive places and seafood, need to spends at least a week or more to explore. Well done John's Tour and thanks for the unforgettable holiday to us.

Unique experience - Compared to the other tour we did with Johns Tours, this one wasn’t quite as top level as an experience. It was still good though, and a really unique experience to be able to fish for squid from a boat. Out of approx 50 people on board only 2 caught something - just to give a realistic idea of your chances! That didn’t hugely bother us though - it was the experience that counted. Watching the sunset was very pretty and relaxing. The food provided after the fishing was quite basic, but plentiful and fresh. There was some difficulty with payment, which may have been down to us arranging it via our hotel to be fair, but nonetheless it was a bit of a hassle. We had to be driven to the tour office after the activity to pay by card. Would still recommend as a unique experience, but it’s a 4 star one for me.

I wanted to catch a squid. - No one was fishing for squid. The food place is quite cramped and there are too many people on board. It's going to take quite a while for the BBQ to come out. If you don't ask for an optional shellfish meal, the wait is too long. The food is delicious, but it's on board, so it's decent. The guide was very kind and relieved.

Don’t risk it - This company did not pick us up, then blamed weather conditions which were fantastic! Didn’t inform us of any cancellation so totally wasted an evening and an experience that we waited a week for
