To find yourself !!! - Almost inhospitable place. It is located at the mouth of the San Francisco River (One of the largest in Brazil) with the Sea. Very lonely place. A large sandy beach, which looks like a desert, with lonely palm trees that accompany the landscape. The journey is long from Maceió (3 to 4 hours). You will reach a Restaurant that is the base where the Goleta-type boat sails, to navigate the river until you reach the Sea. I think it's more of a place to go solo or as a couple than with kids. You can bathe in the river, but they do not recommend bathing in the sea (I cautiously did). If you like nature, culture, do it!!!

It is very worth going to the Foz do Rio San Francisco - We loved the tour, only I thought the guide could better explain the history of the place. It is worth exploring the place on foot. Local merchants could sell different crafts in each tent.

Disappointment - Unfortunately we do not like the services provided by Luck in Maceió. We had a lot of delays and confusion on the tours. On one occasion, some passengers were simply forgotten in hotels by Luck and then had to reach the bus by a taxi. And the customers who were on the bus, ready to go for the tour, had to stay almost 30 minutes waiting inside this bus in the sun and heat. I spoke to other tourists who witnessed the same irresponsibility in other groups. We had already used the service of this company in Natal - RN and the experience was completely different. They met timetables correctly, there was never a forgetting of customers, we were all very well served at the time. That is why we were very disappointed in Maceió. Unfortunately it was a very bad experience, we felt like we were just numbers for them, a means of making a profit. But it's not because they have countless tourists arriving daily in the city who should treat us this way. I would really no longer indicate Luck's services.
