THE BEST DECISION I MADE IN AMALFI!!! - Me and my boyfriend, Eli, went to Amalfi while studying abroad for Valentines Day and decided on a whim to attend a cooking class. Guiseppe and Giovanni were our teachers and I could easily say this was easily the most fun I had all of abroad. Our wine glasses were never empty with homemade red and white options (we ended up buying 6 bottles to take home, it was that good!) They were hilarious, funny, smart, witty and extremely entertaining. We were the only people booked for that session and there was never a moment of silence. Italian music playing in the background, beautiful scenic view of Amalfi. We made the tiramisu first, then the pasta. After that they took us on a short walking tour to their farm where the vegetables were grown and the most beautiful view of Amalfi I had ever seen on top of the mountain. We came back and made our mozzarella and immediately dinner was ready to be served. We ate the mozzarella with various meats, had our pasta with a homemade sauce, and the tiramisu to finish. The meal was PHENOMENAL. The end of the meal, as tourists, we had no idea how to get to the bus station to take us back to the central area. With this, they walked us all the way to the station, helped us buy the ticket, and waved us goodbye as they ushered us to the correct bus. Absolute gentleman and they deserve all the success they receive. <3 Sincerely, Lily and Eli

We made pasta from scratch! - This was a great family afternoon with a very patient instructor. We even got photos of the boys laughing and smiling during the class!!! A huge feat by our host! My husband, two teenage sons and I really enjoyed this activity. Who would have thought we'd be able to make these things ourselves?!? Sitting down at the end of the class to enjoy our mozzarella and pasta (which had been made into a tasty entree and main for us) in such a relaxed environment made for a great day. The tiramisu was really good too... Especially for three of us that don't even like coffee! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Cooking class - The class was lovely! It was on a mountain top. The host was lovely and met some nice people who also took the class. Had wine and laughters whilst cooking. Valentino then prepared what we made and had it for lunch. Would definitely recommend this!

Cooking with (tedesco) friends - Definitely recommended. Tiramisu or pasta you have already made yourself, but making mozzarella yourself is brilliant.

Semolina! - This cooking experience was a fun and interactive way to learn traditional Italian recipes while enjoying the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The hands-on lessons in making fresh pasta, mozzarella, and tiramisu were well-organized, and the atmosphere was lively. However, some parts of the experience felt a bit dry, and while it was enjoyable, it didn’t quite reach the “amazing” level I had hoped for. Overall, it’s a great activity for food lovers looking for an authentic culinary experience, but it could use a little more engagement to make it truly unforgettable.
