Path of the Gods - This type of tour start from Sorrento Naples is for those who like to combine the amazing scenery of the Amalfi coast with time for hiking one of the most famous paths of our Coastline.

From your accommodation in Sorrento or Naples you will leave at 8.00 am in the direction of the Amalfi first.

The Amalfi Drive is a famous Winding road with breathtaking views of the beautiful stretch of coastline on the Mediterranean where we will stop in a number of places giving you opportunities
to take memorable photos.

UNESCO awarded the Amalfi Coast a well deserved spot on the World Heritage list in 1997

We will stop on the way for make a couple photos before get to Amalfi city center.

Continuing our drive down towards Amalfi, we will pass through some of the popular fishing villages Praiano, Furore and Conca Dei Marini.

1 hour stop- Amalfi - The main town of the Amalfi Coast lies at the mouth of a deep ravine, at the foot of Monte Cerreto surrounded by dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery. where you can take a relaxing walk in the main Square Pizza Duomo and visit the beautiful cathedral of St Andrew, Museo della Carta (Museum of handmade paper), the ancient dockyards, or simply try a delicious gelato and admire the view of the waterfront.

We’ll continue our tour on the way upwards to Bomerano village, where the driver will leave you to walk through the amazing Path of the Gods and will be waiting for you in the main square of Nocelle village the end of the path: it’s one path, you can’t get lost.

When you get there your driver (if you like) will take you to a renowned family run restaurant for lunch.

After lunch the driver will take you to Positano.

Positano

The very famous vertical village, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, thanks to its picturesque landscapes.

We will take you to the heart of Positano, where you can stroll through the narrow streets to the main beach passing by stylish boutiques, outdoor cafés and restaurants.

Positano has been featured in several movies including the very famous

Under the Tuscan Sun.

Also very well known for the linen, handmade sandals and ceramics.

The church of Santa Maria Assunta is also worth visiting which features a dome made of majolica tiles as well as the thirteenth century byzantine icon of a black Madonna.

After the visit of Positano, the driver will take you back to your accommodation in Sorrento or Naples.

Great experience - We had a wonderful last day in Italy on this tour with Mike as our guide. We saw a lot of the Amalfi coast and had plenty of time to stop and visit, take pics, learn about the different areas. Path of the Gods was an awesome hike. Moderate level and took a little under 2 hours at a steady pace. Gorgeous scenery. Mike made reservations for us at a local authentic family Italian restaurant to eat at with a beautiful view of Positano. Possibly the best food we had the whole time we were here. Definitely a highlight of the trip and Mike was a great guide and very hospitable and friendly.

A fantastic trip around the Amalfi coast - My family was in sorrento for a short visit and wanted to see as much as possible. We were a big group (9) so we couldn’t fit in one car and didn’t want to navigate the bus system. Michele (Mike) and Ciro took us around all day, giving us time to hike, eat, shop, and sightsee. They were fantastic. Super informative, very accommodating when our plans changed just a bit, and extremely friendly. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Ten Stars plus!! - Best tour imaginable with our guide, Vittorio! As a native of Sorrento, Vittorio showed us the beautiful coastline and famous sites as only a native of the area could. He was not just informative, but also kind, considerate and simply a joy to be with! Our tour was one of the highlights of our time in Italy- highly recommend this tour company!!

A Day of Adventure and Natural Beauty - We hired a driver for the day to take us on a custom itinerary along the Amalfi coast. We asked for a tour that avoided the most touristy places but included The Path of the Gods. Our starting point was Pompeii, where we had a room at a B&B. Our driver, Massimo, picked us up promptly in his clean and comfortable car. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke English well. He took us over the mountains to Ravello, which sits high above the coast, with charming gardens, epic views, and many cats. Then, down to Minori, a small seaside town. Then back up into the mountains to the trailhead for The Path of the Gods. Massimo was waiting for us at the end of the path. He suggested a wine tasting at a vineyard in the Pompeii area to end our memorable day. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended!

5 star service around the Amalfi coast and beyond - We used Rosato for several tours as they were highly recommended to us by friends -the service was outstanding. They provided a large Mercedes van that was so comfortable, their drivers were excellent not only with their driving skills but also with their sharing history of the region and making many stops to take photos or see sights. The tour of the Amalfi coast with the path of the gods hike was really outstanding and we also were able to get a stop in Ravello as well. The communication from Rosato was fabulous - making our experience so easy!

Great way to see the Amalfi coast in one day! - My family's experience with this tour was amazing, and I would totally recommend for all coming to the area. To begin our morning, we were picked up at our hotel by Massimo, our guide for the day. On the long and beautiful drive to Positano, Massimo had non-stop facts and stories about the area, keeping us all intrigued and listening. After a quick 30 minute stop in Amalfi for a snack, we set off for the beginning of the trail. Upon arriving at the start, Massimo provided us with all the water we could need and wished us luck. The hike itself was gorgeous, with incredible views of the area and great opportunites for photos. After reaching the end of the hike, Massimo picked us up and took us to a restaurant that was right on the mountain, which had both spectacular views and incredible pizza. After finishing our meal, we headed back to the hotel, exhausted after a great days of hiking. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour due to both the expertise and kindness of Massimo and the great hike that the Path of The Gods provided.

Great tour. Very nice guy. - We took an 8 hour private tour with Lello. He collected us red us from our hotel right in time and was a great host all day. Felt very safe in his van on the small narrow mountain roads. Would Highly recommend.

Magnificent tour with Massimo - We had the most incredible day with Massimo who curated our tour to our needs. We had the most magnificent lunch. Amazing day overall with beautiful stops, overlooking magnificent view scapes. Great humor, and comfortable conversation. Very well air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz van. Thank you to Vito. Perfect day out’ - Amazing sceneries along the coast. The driver CIRO was very good in navigating the tricky mountain roads. He is a very likeable person and excellent guide, taking care to bring us to really beautiful spots for pictures. Very obliging. Vehicle was also very clean. We had a good time!.

Path of the Gods is epic - Let me start by saying walking the The Path of the Gods was epic and made the entire trip worth it. It was truly an experience I will never forget and highly recommend. We felt safe with our driver who was clearly expert at driving the winding coast. He stopped for a couple of great photos which I will treasure. That said, he wasn't very chatty or animated. He did make some comments here and there to point out areas of interest. The overall problem with the tour is we stopped in Amalfi first and that was great - had a nice cappuccino and pastry and shopped a little. We then went on to hike the Path of the Gods. It was exhilarating but so hot, dusty and dirty. Overall, this was not a problem for us but the tour then went on to Positano. We were such a sweaty and dirty mess, we couldn't go into any of the shops. We managed to find a pizza place to eat and apologized for our appearance. There should really be no stops at the end of the hike. Also, at the end of the Path in Nocelle, there is a quaint little bar that would have been a great place to stop but we knew the driver was waiting. It would have been nice to have a recommended stop there. We also wound up walking up a HUGE amount of stairs in Nocelle to meet the driver and when we got there, he told us there was a different way around. I think the ideal tour would be the beautiful drive to Amalfi with 1-2 hours there and then the Path of the Gods and then end it.
