Path of the Gods - This type of tour start from Sorrento Naples is for those who like to combine the amazing scenery of the Amalfi coast with time for hiking one of the most famous paths of our Coastline.

From your accommodation in Sorrento or Naples you will leave at 8.00 am in the direction of the Amalfi first.

The Amalfi Drive is a famous Winding road with breathtaking views of the beautiful stretch of coastline on the Mediterranean where we will stop in a number of places giving you opportunities
to take memorable photos.

UNESCO awarded the Amalfi Coast a well deserved spot on the World Heritage list in 1997

We will stop on the way for make a couple photos before get to Amalfi city center.

Continuing our drive down towards Amalfi, we will pass through some of the popular fishing villages Praiano, Furore and Conca Dei Marini.

1 hour stop- Amalfi - The main town of the Amalfi Coast lies at the mouth of a deep ravine, at the foot of Monte Cerreto surrounded by dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery. where you can take a relaxing walk in the main Square Pizza Duomo and visit the beautiful cathedral of St Andrew, Museo della Carta (Museum of handmade paper), the ancient dockyards, or simply try a delicious gelato and admire the view of the waterfront.

We’ll continue our tour on the way upwards to Bomerano village, where the driver will leave you to walk through the amazing Path of the Gods and will be waiting for you in the main square of Nocelle village the end of the path: it’s one path, you can’t get lost.

When you get there your driver (if you like) will take you to a renowned family run restaurant for lunch.

After lunch the driver will take you to Positano.

Positano

The very famous vertical village, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, thanks to its picturesque landscapes.

We will take you to the heart of Positano, where you can stroll through the narrow streets to the main beach passing by stylish boutiques, outdoor cafés and restaurants.

Positano has been featured in several movies including the very famous

Under the Tuscan Sun.

Also very well known for the linen, handmade sandals and ceramics.

The church of Santa Maria Assunta is also worth visiting which features a dome made of majolica tiles as well as the thirteenth century byzantine icon of a black Madonna.

After the visit of Positano, the driver will take you back to your accommodation in Sorrento or Naples.

Great Tour! - We had such a great time on our private tour to Positano and Path of the Gods! Lello was our guide and he was fantastic! He customized a couple extra stops based on our interests (limoncello & delicious pastries) which was an added bonus to the tour. We were travelling on a cruise and Lello was also very conscious of time, making sure we were back to Naples cruise terminal in time for our ship’s departure. We were highly impressed Rosato Tours overall (quick response times, very helpful information when we were booking from overseas) and would definitely book again when returning to the Amalfi coast

Phenomenal Amalfi Coast Day - Our private Amalfi Coast tour with Rosato Tours was wonderful, thanks to our exceptional driver and guide, Aaron. His engaging and informative approach brought the stunning coastline to life. Aaron's deep knowledge of the region shone through as he explained the unique history and charm of each coastal town we passed, making the drive along the entire Amalfi Coast both educational and interesting. Aaron made sure he made the day our own by listening to our preferences and seamlessly tailoring the day to suit our desires, offering thoughtful suggestions and making adjustments as we traveled to ensure the experience was just as we wanted. His flexibility and enthusiasm made us feel like the tour was crafted just for us. He expertly navigated the crazy traffic and the challenging road conditions as well - glad he was driving and not me! The itinerary was packed and we were fortunate to see all that we did. We stopped in Ravello to explore the breathtaking Cimbrone Gardens, where the views were truly breathtaking. Next, Aaron dropped us off for the exhilarating Path of the Gods hike, a bucket-list experience with jaw-dropping views. We capped off the day in Sorrento, indulging in delicious pizza and creamy gelato (recommended by Aaron)—a perfect ending to an incredible adventure. Aaron’s passion, knowledge, and attention to detail elevated this tour to an unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend Rosato Tours—and Aaron—highly enough for anyone looking to explore the Amalfi Coast!

Highlight of Our Trip! - We had the best experience with Massimo as our driver for a day along the Amalfi Coast and the Path of the Gods! From start to finish, he was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting local insights and knew exactly where to stop for the most beautiful photos. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of the entire time—it honestly felt like we were traveling with a friend. Highly recommend booking with Massimo—you won’t regret it!

Amazing Tour with Massimo - If you take this tour, pray you get Massimo as the guide. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on each town he takes you to, he’s hilarious. I had the pleasure of being his copilot and was cracking up the entire time. I doubt I would’ve learned as much as I did had he not been such a genuinely great guide. I would recommend you grab a cappuccino and a sfogliatelle in Positano and get lunch in Ravello. You won’t regret it.

Amazing driver, guide, and tour - Maximo ensured we had a tremendous experience. He explained the history of the coast and answered all our questions. He knew the picturesque spots along the road and pulled over to let us create memories. When we pulled into Positano. Amalfi and Ravello he provided tips to key things to see and best places to eat or drink. Throughout our tour, he was informative but also extremely friendly and easy going. Every step was personalized. And he created a day trip of memories. Thanks "Max" - you were awesome and we felt like we were family. Highly recommend the tour - and especially Max!

Expert Guide that made our experience amazing! Would come back and do it all over again with Massimo. - Massimo was amazing! The best guide we could ask for. Path of the Gods is epic - Let me start by saying walking the The Path of the Gods was epic and made the entire trip worth it. It was truly an experience I will never forget and highly recommend. We felt safe with our driver who was clearly expert at driving the winding coast. He stopped for a couple of great photos which I will treasure. That said, he wasn't very chatty or animated. He did make some comments here and there to point out areas of interest. The overall problem with the tour is we stopped in Amalfi first and that was great - had a nice cappuccino and pastry and shopped a little. We then went on to hike the Path of the Gods. It was exhilarating but so hot, dusty and dirty. Overall, this was not a problem for us but the tour then went on to Positano. We were such a sweaty and dirty mess, we couldn't go into any of the shops. We managed to find a pizza place to eat and apologized for our appearance. There should really be no stops at the end of the hike. Also, at the end of the Path in Nocelle, there is a quaint little bar that would have been a great place to stop but we knew the driver was waiting. It would have been nice to have a recommended stop there. We also wound up walking up a HUGE amount of stairs in Nocelle to meet the driver and when we got there, he told us there was a different way around. I think the ideal tour would be the beautiful drive to Amalfi with 1-2 hours there and then the Path of the Gods and then end it.
