Beautiful views/learn the history of the Smoky Mountains! - Knowledgeable, enjoyable tour with a veteran/retired park ranger. Mark K brought up a lot of great facts on the surrounding area and about the animals. This was well worth the $ in my opinion.

Truly the best history... - Truly the best history and views you’ll see. Very knowledgeable. Mark has been her a long time and knows the in and outs. His bears under his house story was a plus.

Great trip - Randy was great; he helped us to spot a family of three bears. I really appreciate it not having to navigate the winding & twisty roads.

Confirm with the company directly. - A+ for the tour company and David, our guide! BUT confirm your reservation with them directly because Viator did not make the reservation. I showed my confirmation and they graciously honored it but they did not have our reservation.

Don’t waste your money - This was supposed to be a 3 hour jeep excursion. It was only 2 hours. Parts of the park we couldn’t even go into. The driver China was very knowledgeable but other than that it was very boring. Not the least bit exciting. Too expensive for what you get. We then drove ourselves up to the Cherokee village and had a blast in our own car. And the front window to look out of was so filthy we couldn’t see where we were going.

Waste of money, time and energy. - We were not able to have the complete tour due to mama bears and cubs coming out. Something they do every year around the same time. So why wouldn’t this company either not offer this tour at this time or select a different route? It was expensive to just ride around a couple of streets at the base of the smokies. Totally not what we expected. It did not last the length of time they said it would. The front sightseeing windshield was so dirty you couldn’t see anything out of it. Don’t waste your money. We had much better views by driving ourselves thru the Newfound Gap.
