Here, visitors will discover the Pisac market, renowned for its handicrafts, ceramics, and textiles. Another highlight is the Pisac ruins, considered one of the most beautiful locations in Cusco. The site features a cemetery, stunning palaces, and a hydraulic platform with finely cut stones.
- Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - Situated at the opposite end of Pisac, this is one of the last living Inca towns. Its streets retain the original Inca layout. The archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo served as a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. Here, visitors will find the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Princess Baths.
- Moray - URUBAMBA.- This is where lunch will be served.
MORAY.- Known for its breathtaking views, Moray features circular terraces of varying sizes. These terraces were used for agricultural experiments and are considered a concentration of female energy, acting as a magnetic center of the Pachamama.
- Salt Mine of Maras - SALT MINES OF MARAS.- Located northwest of the town of Maras, these are often referred to as “Salt Mines” and consist of approximately 3,000 small wells. Salt has been harvested here since pre-Hispanic times using a system of sun-dried saltwater from an underground stream. Once the water evaporates, the salt is ready for sale.
- Chinchero - CHINCHERO.- This location features the archaeological site of the “Royal Hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui,” a beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations, which is its most significant asset. However, the Sunday market is a major attraction, originally intended for the exchange of agricultural products between valley and highland villagers. Today, the market is a vibrant display of color and activity, captivating tourists with its array of handicrafts and textiles crafted in a pure pre-Columbian style.
