- Aberlour Distillery - Established in 1879, Aberlour Distillery is a cherished gem among malt enthusiasts.
Nestled in the heart of Speyside, surrounded by the stunning Highland backdrop of Ben Rinnes, Aberlour is where the Lour burn meets the River Spey. The distillery uses exceptionally pure and soft spring water from nearby natural springs to craft its whisky. Although distillery tours are currently paused due to renovations, an optional whisky tasting is available.
- Glenfiddich Distillery - Founded in 1886, Glenfiddich is one of the oldest family-owned Scotch whisky distilleries.
Visitors have the opportunity to tour the distillery, including a visit to one of the warehouses to discover the generations of gently maturing casks. The tour provides insights into how Glenfiddich maintains the depth and consistency of flavor across its renowned whisky range. The tour concludes with a tasting of several malts.
- The Macallan Distillery - Distilling since 1824, The Macallan is arguably one of the most renowned whisky brands globally.
The award-winning Macallan Distillery visitor center, established in 2018, is accessible by appointment only. To conclude the Speyside exploration, a reservation at the Macallan bar will be made, offering an ‘a la carte’ experience with the most extensive selection of Macallan whiskies, including some of the rarest single malts, dating back over 80 years.
The impressive circular whisky bar offers stunning views of Speyside, overlooking the Highland landscape and the iconic Easter Elchies House, integral to the brand since 1824. From the bar, guests can also admire the 18m-high glass wall featuring 840 whisky bottles, showcasing Macallan’s liquid history.
- Bankfoot - The final stop of the day is at a roadside cafe, where visitors can meet the famous Highland Coos!
