Had a Blast on Bike the Burgh - Can't say enough amazing things about our tour in April 2026 with Harry B! Our family of 3, including a capable 5 year old rider on a child's tandem, had an incredible experience exploring the city with Harry! He was an excellent communicator, ensured we were having fun while being safe, made sure to share all the info the adults were interested in while still engaging our son, and was able to attend to the other members of our group, including an 82 year old rider. His friendly demeanor and genuine pride in his city was palpable. The fee was a bargain for the length of trip, and they were very kind in letting us use their child's tandem instead of having to attach our own. My only comment would be that our bikes were a little old, and my gears slipped a lot during the trip, but as an experienced rider, it wasn't an issue for me. I also could have easily asked to return to the shop for a different bike, but felt comfortable continuing with the tour. I know they are introducing new bikes this spring, so future tours won't have that issue.
We will definitely book again with Bike the Burgh when we return to Pittsburgh and highly recommend them! Thanks, Harry!

“Biked, laughed, learned. Bike the Burgh Tour = Pittsburgh magic!” - Listen… if you want to ride a bike, laugh, learn, and fall in love with Pittsburgh all at the same time, Bike the Burgh Tours is where the magic happens. Whether you’re a visitor or a born‑and‑raised Yinzer, this tour will have you saying, “How did I not know THAT about my own city?”
And the staff? Oh, honey… they’re the real MVPs.
Val, the owner, greets you like you’re already part of the Bike Burgh family.
Hannah keeps the whole operation smooth like fresh pavement.
Dave, our tour guide, dropped history, humor, and hidden gems like he was hosting his own show.
And Carl, the mechanic—bless him—tuned my bike so perfectly I felt like I was gliding through the city on a cloud.
The whole crew brings the energy, the knowledge, and the heart. You don’t just take a tour—you experience Pittsburgh in a way that sticks with you.
If you want fun, culture, connection, and a little Thunder in your day, Bike the Burgh Tours is the BEST in the city. Period.

Got us to complete the ride of a lifetime - Rented 2 Gazelle e bikes in Pittsburgh and bike 5 days to Cumberland MD on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP). My son and I had a great time and these bikes and the folks at Bike the Burgh made a great difference. We received great service and support and they were wonderful. A big shout out to Sarah for all her support and recommendations. You can’t go wrong using Bike the Burgh!!

If you come to Pittsburgh you MUST do this - This is just a great experience to live. Our guide, Mark, is just the most kind person. He has really aware of us which I really appreciate since my mom had a knee surgery about a couple years ago and she was worried she couldn´t make it but Mark was really supportive.
The city is just amazing and the best way to know it is riding a bike.
Mark also gave us a little present and bought us some snacks, we weren´t expecting that so we´ll forever remember him and Sarah who works at the bike shop and she´s also wonderful.

Best Bike Tour in the Burgh? - Sarah was our phenomenal guide on our bike your today. She was a wealth of information about Pittsburgh, which was beneficial for a first time visitor to this lovely City. The biking was easy, good bikes/helmets, and several stops at the important places to note in the City, while including the history of the City as well. Everything from architecture to bridges to trees, to other important sites in the City was included. We're here for a Green Bay Packer VS Steelers NFL game this weekend on Sunday night, but this tour was another big highlight to our long weekend here. Would recommend it to anyone. Also...they have other tours to choose from, so check them out!!

History and Architecture - A really informative tour. A lot of stops to view the buildings and learn of the town’s past. Biking was safe through the streets, bridges and bike paths. It was a gorgeous day and our group was terrific. Dave did a good job! Over three hours just got a little long.
