The afternoon excursion features continuous Class II rapids as the river expands into Norwood Canyon. These rapids are enjoyable and gentle, rolling over the boat’s bow rather than shaking it violently. Prepare to encounter numerous drops and ride through wave trains!
Between the exciting sections, there will be ample opportunity to relax and possibly observe some wildlife. Watch for friendly river otters dining on rainbow trout, as they are quite fond of it. The guide will provide insights about the area and likely share some stories or jokes, perhaps even a pun or two… Fingers crossed.
Every trip includes a safety briefing and paddling instructions from our skilled and enthusiastic river guides. You’ll quickly become familiar with them as you navigate the river together.
