Setting Sail on the Tenerife Coast

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as my wife and I made our way to Puerto Colón for a morning catamaran trip. The air was crisp, and the promise of adventure hung thick in the atmosphere. As a seasoned surfer, I’ve spent countless hours on the water, but the idea of witnessing whales and dolphins in their natural habitat was a new thrill. The crew welcomed us aboard with warm smiles, and we set off on what promised to be an unforgettable journey.

The sea was a bit rough that day, and as we sailed further from the shore, the waves grew more formidable. The crew offered a generous selection of complimentary food and drinks, which, by all accounts, were delicious. Unfortunately, the lingering effects of seasickness meant I couldn’t fully indulge, but the camaraderie among the passengers and crew made up for it. As we sailed back to shore, the stunning views of Tenerife’s mountains and beaches served as a perfect backdrop to the day’s adventure.

Reflecting on the experience, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to witness such natural beauty.
