My best birthday ever! - I celebrated my birthday in cocobongo and Mateo's attention was the cherry on my cake! His friendliness, warmth and service were 10! The amazing place, comfortable, the music and the wonderful show, even the girl from the toilets in the gold member area, super friendly and the bathrooms super clean. The drinks were perfect. The much needed and delicious snacks, definitely returned to celebrate my birthday next year!

Accessible and inclusive - I cannot praise the venue enough for being accessible and inclusive. We shared with our rep our concerns about accessibility due to two of us being neurodivergent. We paid the premium ticket price with no discount but it was well worth it. We were seated in an area that had space and when we needed to leave earlier they escorted us to an exit so we didn’t have to walk through the crowds. If sensory overload is a concern where loops/ear defender and wear sungkasss ! An amazing experience and we were able to stay longer then we thought - thank you 🙏

Coco bongo's Gold member tickets - What a fantastic night well worth a visit we stayed at Catalonia Riviera Maya hotel good tip book through Jorge at hotel he sorted everything gave great advice about venue and best price sorted transport made the whole experience would highly recommend 👍

Amazing experience for all ages - Got sold out tickets by the Coco Bongo rep Patrick in our hotel Ocean Maya Royale, he was not pushy with the sell and very informative and professional! At the club our waiter was Uber and he was amazing, our drinks were never empty, food ok, filled a gap!! The night went so quick, the shows were fast paced and in between the shows we had a good time seeing everyone enjoying themselves in the big screen. I even had a dance on the stage. I thought it would be a club full of youngsters, however, there were all ages there enjoying! We are both 50 and we don’t feel out of place!! Would definitely do again! Definately go Gold!

Absolutely 100% go see this show! - Myself and husband opted to do the early ‘family’ show as we aren’t generally ones for being out late, We know from friends who did the late show its a 3am finish and that would have ruined a day for us…. However in hindsight that is what we should have done. We were told that our bus would depart at 9pm no exceptions so missed the end of the show to make sure that we made our bus back to the resort. That all said the show and the evening was absolutely awesome, our server Christopher was absolutely class and made sure to look after us. However, we paid for ‘front row’ seating and can honestly say where we ended up wasn’t really worth the additional spend. We would have had better views with some of the other tickets. We are very glad we went and will definitely go back and do the late show when we come back to Mexico. Shout out to Alain in resort who sold us the tickets as he was first class!

Just incredible! One of the best memories with my best friends! - I was looking into my memories and I think this is "by far" one of the best moments I have spent with my best friends! Coco Bongo turns you crazy and make you have fun like a child in a toy store. Congratulations to the organizers, performers and all the staff!

Terrific night out! - Terrific night from start to finish, picked up from our hotel in an air conditioned bus. On arrival in Playa Del Carmen told where and what time bus would be there at the end of the night. Taken to Coco Bongos waited about 10 mins max until we were admitted. Shown to our raised seats with a side view to the stage. Immediately our waiter brought us drinks and continued the whole night as soon as there was a happy glass he was there with a new one and nice drinks not too strong. Basket snacks of either burger, hotdog or nachos with fries served during the show. Great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and toilets were immaculate. The show itself self was terrific with so much going on you didn’t know where to look! We went on a Saturday and was busy so not sure if it’s the same every night. Would definitely recommend if your in Playa Del Carmen a not to be missed evening.

Good night ! - We booked VIP tickets through Tui although I thought it was expensive I was glad we did . We enjoyed the experience and the show was fantastic ! Our waiter was brilliant ( a tip helps ) drinks were flowing and food was ok. We took our 19 and 20 year olds who enjoyed the experience too. They checked their ID s so make sure you take them with you they also checked the ticket holders ID ( mine too) We didn’t encounter any problems but had heard of a young girl at our hotel who had had her drink spiked there the previous night and had ended up in hospital which worried me a lot so felt very cautious - just be careful with drinks whilst on dance floor and the free drinks they offer ! I was glad we paid extra for the VIP experience in the end !

Good but could be better. - The dancing and the acrobatics were incredible! Lots of amazing talent! Lots of great music and the drinks were strong and came quickly! Definitely helps if you tip your server! If loud music and flashing lights/lasers aren't your thing though it might not be for you. VIP package not quite as luxurious as it's made to sound. Drinks were included but you'll be sat on bar stools, quite close to other people potentially high up from the stage area. Be prepared to be sold better seats and shots. The pick up/drop off was a shambles. Didn't get to the venue on time and everyone was told to be back for 2.15 am but wouldn't let anyone on the bus until 2.50am. As you can imagine this led to a coach full of people waiting to go home stuck waiting outside as the driver sat inside. Also meant missing out on another 45 minutes of the show as most people left at 2 as you have to walk a distance to get to the pickup/drop off point. Definitely need to.make sure the coco bongo reps are clearer about what time we actually need to be back at the coach for so you're not cutting your night short!

Not a show, just a massive party NOT worth the money! - Please only book to go here if you want a full on party. The actual ‘show’ is good but only lasts 30 mins out of the whole night. The rest of the time we were crammed into a tiny space watching loads of random people grind against each other and women having their skirts blown up (willingly) by an air machine on the stage. Really not worth the money. The line was a joke and you have to bring photo ID with you. We luckily had a photo of our passports on our phone or we wouldn’t have gotten in. I wouldn’t trust taking my actual passport, the place was packed, a pick pockets dream and hardly any security. We booked through TUI and was sold this as a show…really not the case and a total night club for young people. Our transfers to and from the club included a party bus which was the longest journey of my life (took about 30 mins from our hotel) and the transfer back didn’t pick us up until 3:45 am!!! No option to make it earlier either… The actual value doesn’t look safe and the food is awful. The drinks were ok and the waiter who brought us them was excellent, he was the only good thing about the place in my opinion. Take my advice, save your money and do anything else.
