A Hidden Oasis of Luxury – Jungala is a Must-Visit! - If you are looking for an elevated water park experience, Jungala Aqua Experience Waterpark is absolutely superb. From the moment you walk in, the facility feels world-class. It is impeccably maintained, featuring high-end showers, secure lockers, and a layout that feels more like a tropical retreat than a typical theme park. The highlight of the day was the huge lazy river, it is easily one of the best I’ve ever experienced. We visited on March 22nd and were shocked by the very few people that visited the park. The service throughout the park was exceptional; every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. A few practical tips for your visit: Booking: We paid $71 via Viator, which felt like a steal for the quality of the amenities provided. Dining: The food and drinks were delicious. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality matches the "luxury" branding. Tipping: Note that a service charge is often included in the food prices, so additional tipping is optional. However, the staff works incredibly hard, so if you receive the kind of excellent service we did, a little extra is definitely appreciated! The only minor drawback is the lack of a free shuttle service. Getting there can be a bit of a hurdle and/or costly if you book a van, and I truly believe they would have even more customers if they offered transportation. Despite the travel logistics, it was an amazing day. If you want a sophisticated, stress-free day in the water, skip the crowded parks and come here instead!

LUXURY WATER PARK - Peaceful & Fun at the Same Time -- 5 STARS!!!!! - The Jungala Aqua Experience = SEPARATE WATER PARK. Not part of Jungala Hotel. The Water park is GREAT!! 5 STARS for SURE. It’s PRIVATE (With Private Cabana rentals and massage spa access/services , serene, and super fun at the same time: We went back 2 times. THIS IS NOT PART OF THE JUNGALA HOTEL. It is separate. DO NOT let the Jungala hotel tell you different. They sold us that it’s part of the hotel. This is a separate paid WATER PARK TICKET per person. HOURS: 10AM - 5PM You can easily spend the full day there. COSTS BREAKDOWN: WATER PARK TICKETS: 9 yrs and Older = ADULT TICKET of $75/person/day. There is something for big kids, thrill seekers, and little kiddos, so it’s great for families. Wave pool and lazy river (again not in the hotel). The park itself has a good mix: a wave pool, a long lazy river, smaller slides for younger kids, and larger slides for people who like more intense rides (I skipped those, but they were popular). There’s enough variety that everyone in our group found something they liked. CABANA RENTALS: Start around $100+ /day with 6 people max [WORTH EVERY PENNY] What surprised me most was how quiet and calm it felt compared to most water parks. It never felt chaotic or overcrowded. We got a cabana and I would definitely recommend doing that if you can. You get your own space, Cabana VIP Access to private bathroom / Shower Rooms, and there’s a call button for food and drinks, which the staff actually responds to quickly. Waiters were at the ready any time, and checked back often. We got better service there than anywhere else in Vidanta. Safe inside, bed, table and 2 chairs, drapes for extra privacy, set back inside tree covered area. So peaceful and quiet. We napped…literally. FOOD AVERAGE: A little on the mid-expensive side but the drinks were flowing and the food was great. Everything was timely and the service was top-notch. MASSAGE/SPA services: Same company servicing all the timeshare properties in Vidanta. One of the unexpected highlights was the massage setup. There’s a private building near the cabanas. The therapists were professional and fairly priced. Samantha and Amanda were both excellent and I would absolutely recommend them. A little cheaper than the hotel prices for the same services, totally worth it. 50 minute and 80 minute Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, the works!!!! :-) MANAGEMENT / CONCEIRGE DESK: Also worth mentioning: Carlos, the general manager, and Sandra, who manages concierge services, were both genuinely helpful and present. That kind of leadership shows in how smoothly everything runs. Overall, yes, it’s a separate cost — but if you’re looking for a calmer, more upscale water park experience, this one stood out. We liked it enough that we came back a second day, even paying for tickets again, which honestly says more than anything else I could write. If there were rooms directly at the water park, I’d book one. See attached map of the water park and pics. Text the WhatsApp for Vindanta Park Concierge Services - Ask for Sandra. They text you right back. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

The perfect family memory! - Not a detail is missed with this place-so beautiful, clean, laid out well, spacious, food choices and locations were excellent, we felt so cared and provided for by nice and helpful staff, the rides are all TOP NOTCH and our kids had THE BEST day! The lazy river was also divine-very beautiful and serene. I thought this would be a one day experience we all have and cherish forever, but all of us can’t wait to go back again someday!

I wish I could rate it 10 star - We had an absolutely marvelous time at this waterpark. Not sure if it always quieter, but the day we came it was like an oasis of peace among the business of our other resort. Very well maintained grounds. So many things to do both for kids and adults! Lush greenery everywhere! Great food options. Super friendly staff. No language barrier. Will be raving about this park for ages! And prices were reasonable compared to the aquanick next door.

Unforgettable experience - We are used to travelling and Jungala is undoubtedly one of the best places we have visited. Everything is there to spend an exceptional day: a magnificent setting, high-quality attractions, but above all an impeccable organization. The cleanliness is just impressive — everything is perfectly maintained from morning to night, and it really makes a difference. A huge bravo to the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Always smiling, available and attentive, they go a long way towards making the experience even more enjoyable. An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will return with great pleasure!

Fun Family Day - Great day with the whole family. The Lazy River was a hit with less adventurous and there were plenty of thrill rides for the brave.

The loveliest waterpark we have ever been to - After going to XCaret every year we decided to try something new and all I can say it wow! We went on Christmas Eve and it was not too busy. We didn't have to wait long and was able to go on all the water rides. The park is very clean and well-kept, the staff was very nice and the food was good. Even the bathrooms were very clean, which is not usually the case at most water parks. The prices were affordable and we really felt like we hit the jackpot with this one. If we are in Mexico, we will definitely be coming back! We did not purchase any photos, but I thought it was cool that we didn't have to wear any bracelets. At the end they scan your face and use facial recognition to show you all your photos. We had a lot of laughs seeing our faces on some of the scary rides!

Beautiful Jungle Water Park & Thrill Slides — But Transportation Is Tricky if You’re Off-Resort - We visited Jungala Aqua Experience in the Riviera Maya in March 2026 as a family of five with three preteens/teens looking for a water park with thrill slides and a relaxing resort atmosphere. Overall we had a really fun day, but there are a few things visitors should know — especially if you’re not staying at Vidanta Riviera Maya. Getting there was confusing. Our Uber dropped us at a parking lot far from the actual park entrance, and we had to wait about 30 minutes for a resort tram to reach the gate. When leaving, we waited another 30 minutes for transport back to the parking area and then discovered Uber isn’t allowed to pick up on the property, so we had to take a taxi back to our off-site resort at roughly double the cost. Tickets are expensive. Admission was about $120 CAD per person (roughly 1,500–2,000 MXN) and that doesn’t include food or extras like spa services or cabana rentals. Once inside, though, the park is beautiful. It’s set in lush jungle and mangroves and we saw plenty of wildlife while walking between attractions — lizards, coatis, agoutis, and chachalaca birds. The grounds are very well maintained with clean restrooms and showers, restaurants, and spa amenities, along with private cabanas with concierge service. The thrill slides were the highlight for our family. They’re intense and definitely geared toward older kids, teens, and adventurous adults — lots of stairs and big drops — but incredibly fun. The park felt very safe with lots of lifeguards on duty. There’s also a wave pool with a sandy beach, a lazy river, hot tubs, and quiet relaxation areas with cushioned loungers and umbrellas throughout the property. We rented a private cabana, which added to the cost but was worth it for shade, privacy, and a relaxing home base during the day. One disappointment: there was a regional power outage that forced the slides to close about two hours early. Since the park is only open 10 AM–5 PM, losing that time was a bit tough considering the ticket price. The staff handled the situation well and offered a discount on our food and return tickets, which we appreciated — unfortunately we only had that one day available on our trip. Compared with some larger water parks in the Riviera Maya, Jungala Aqua Experience feels more upscale and less crowded, but the trade-off is the higher price and transportation logistics if you’re not staying at Vidanta Riviera Maya. Best for: Families with older kids, teens, and adults who enjoy thrill slides and a more relaxed, upscale water park setting. Final verdict: The park is beautiful, clean, and genuinely fun, especially for families with older kids who love big slides. Just plan your transportation ahead of time if you’re staying off the Vidanta property. Pro tip: If you’re visiting Jungala Aqua Experience and not staying at Vidanta Riviera Maya, confirm your drop-off and pickup plan in advance — rideshare pickup isn’t allowed on the property.

Good in general - 2nd visit to this park We preferred our first visit He had a lot of people no chairs available, people put their towels down to reserve the chairs and don’t even use them The restaurant extremely long and really expensive for what it is. Anyway a nice day but a little disappointed

Park closed early with no warning - It is a truly great water park. We had a great time while we were there. The 2 star review is due to the fact that the staff closed the entire park down at 3:30. We were on the lazy river and it just stopped. No notice. Just stopped and we had to walk out. They shut down the slides and everything. Just because it wasn’t busy. Sorry that you didn’t make enough money for the day, but I paid for a full day ticket. After paying $250 US for the beyond package, we didn’t get to use all of the things that came with it and we lost 1.5 hours of the time that the ticket paid for. Super disappointed.
