Loved it! - My family and I attended this cooking class and it was amazing! We did the 3 course meal and have already made some of the recipes again since returning home. I would recommend this to anyone traveling in the area! Even my brothers who are not too interested in cooking (or taking classes) really enjoyed it! Thanks for a wonderful experience! We will be booking another class next time we are in Playa!

Great cooking lesson! - What a lovely evening we had cooking at CO.COS Culinary School last week. Coty is the perfect hostess and teaches in a comfortable, relaxed setting. We made fantastic food and came away with recipes we can try to recreate at home. Such an enjoyable activity to do on vacation!

The Cooking Class with Coty was absolutely a great experience! - The Cooking Class with Coty was absolutely a great experience! My wife and I have participated in a number of cooking classes over the past 10 years in Mexico, the US, Italy and Spain! However, Coty's love for her craft places this class above all others. We requested a class highlighting sauces! Specifically, she taught us how to use a Mole' Sauce with several dishes. However, what was "over the top" was her explanation and education on many types of Mexican Peppers and their qualities, specifically their spicy "Heat" Value. Then, in the end, we were educated with a Tequila and Mescal tasting. We learned about the Agave' Plant, where it is grown and it's qualities to produce the Tequila. So overall, we were treated to a wonderful "Food Tasting" experience, but with many valuable techniques and tips. JP and Alice, Chef's in Training

Really worthwhile! - Our multi generational family group of 9 people loved this class! We made birria tacos, 4 kinds of salsa, birria quesadillas, and corn tortillas. Coti shared a lot of information but it never got boring—we loved it! The tequila and mezcal tasting at the end was really fun too.

Coty Makes Cooking Feel Effortless and Truly Fun - I came in expecting to learn a simple recipe. Instead, Coty opened the door to a whole world of flavor, culture, and technique that I didn’t even know I was missing. She has that rare mix of talent, true culinary education, and an easy teaching style that makes you feel both relaxed and inspired. What surprised me most was how many small, powerful skills I walked away with. Even something as simple as learning how to perfectly salt freshly made tortilla chips (totopos), felt like discovering a secret I’ll use forever. Coty makes sure everyone is included, engaged, and genuinely having a good time, and you can feel how much she cares about her craft. We explored real Mexican culinary traditions, learned the history behind what we were cooking, and she gently dispelled a few myths many foreigners carry without even realizing it. It was fun, eye-opening, and beautifully done. This was more than a cooking class. It was a lively, delicious experience that left me with new friends, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for true Mexican cuisine. Highly recommended!
