Up Your Salasa Game with this Amazing Experience - Such a great experience! I learned so much. Did you know you can throw salt brine into boiling oil without setting your house on fire?! And it gets that salt INTO the tortilla chips not just on them. Did this myself after I got home and they turned out great. There were ten in our group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I now have five salsa recipes which I will use to impress folks for the rest of my life. Chef Coty was super informative and fun. The tequila/mezcal tasting was eye-opening. As was the chili lesson.

The team is professional, and it will be the best meal you eat in Playa. And you have the luxury of having made a fine meal with tips to make your own cooking great.

Wonderful Cooking Experience - Hands on experience with Chef Coty. So much fun to learn about the different peppers and sauces. Coty explains everything as you are cooking this tasty meal. You'll walk away knowing how to utilize these sauces for other dishes. Tortilla soup, Tacos Al Pastor, Sauces and Flan. Amazing flavors! Loved it. I'll be back

Bon appétit Staff Retreat - From beginning to end this was an exceptional dining and staff retreat activity. We entered as friends and left feeling like family because Chef Coty was absolutely amazing! This was an activity chosen by our staff which had varied dietary needs and cooking experience levels. Chef Coty curated a fun and delicious afternoon for us. We learned a lot, laughed even more, and enjoyed our time together. Chef Coty exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend taking her cooking class! Thanks so much for taking such good care of us, you just don't know how much this experience meant to all of us!

Perfect Bachelorette Activity - I booked this experience approximately four months ahead of time. It was excellent value for the experience. I booked this as a bachelorette activity for a group of four and Chef Coty made sure we had an amazing time. As soon as I booked, Chef Coty sent over all of the instructions and was attentive to details (allergies, purpose of our trip/booking the experience, etc.). Her communication skills (as well as her culinary skills) are top tier. It was very easy to reach her the morning of our experience via WhatsApp. Everything started on time and she even gave us some leftovers to provide to our taxi driver😊. We opted for the five hour, three course experience with tequila/mezcal tasting and would highly recommend it. The time flew by and we would absolutely do it again. Chef Coty prepared a customized menu and walked us through each step. She demonstrated all skills, stepped in to provide assistance, and set an overall positive vibe. I’m happy to report the bride and the entire bridal party (myself included) had an amazing time. Muchisimas gracias Chef Coty y Carlos! Mucho gusto y hasta la proxima vez 🥰

Wonderful experience! - Coty was great…..loved making sure we learned about all the ingredients and where they came from in Mexico. One thing to keep in mind…if you come into Cozumel on a cruise ship, you have to make your way to the mainland on a ferry……over an hour commute to get there, but worth the trip!

Learn the skills to cook Mexican at home - Few experiences in life will ever compare to this. As foodies who enjoy both cooking and eating, we have been long-time enjoyers of Mexican food. But the cuisine can seem daunting to beginners. Out of curiosity, we took the class and it is because of Chef Coty that we now feel confident cooking Mexican food at home. Her class taught us everything from perfecting roasting vegetables for salsa to making silky smooth black beans to even the most delicious pipian. That's not all---she is also a gifted storyteller who can make even the seemingly boring act of cooking rice seem like a special occasion. If I am back in Cancun, I will be taking this class again even if it means cooking the same dishes just to spend time with her.
