We meet at the North East Corner or Benito Juarez Avenue and 5ta Avenida Downtown Playa del Carmen if you are coming on taxi tell the driver to drop you right at the downtown bus station ADO and you will be right there. Your guide will be waiting for your he will be wearing a Red shirt.

Save room for the marquesita! - We enjoyed our tour with Uli which ended up being a private tour. The highlight was the marquesita - delicious - with the birria tacos a close second! We also got some recommendations for live music & places to play pickleball (we asked lots of questions!).

Excellent way to get to know Playa Del Carmen authentic food - We had a great time on the street food tour with Ulysses as our guide. He took us on a very comfortable walking tour in the areas of Playa del Carmen (Centro) just enough off the beaten track to experience local food & flavors it was a great variety and he explained each of the dishes & sauces or what made each special. Ended the tour with tequila & mescal tasting with a very knowledgeable vendor in a great tequila shop.

Authentic and fun! - Myself and my partner booked this tour because we really wanted to get a taste of true Mexican. We are so glad we did! It was just the two of us so seemed like an exclusive experience, which was a bonus. Our guide Ulises (or Uli for short!) was so helpful, kind and a great tour guide all round! Food was great, the fresh juices and of course, tasting the pure tequilas! We will be recommending to everyone who is in the area! Thanks again, Kathleen and Jamie 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Fantastic walking food tour and tequila tasting - Thank you Ulises for a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and we enjoyed your commentary and upbeat attitude. The icing on the cake was the Churros and tequila tasting. I highly recommend a walking food tour to anyone who wants to get off the beaten path and discover new food experiences.

Fun way to see some authentic Mexican food in Playa, albeit expensive for what you get - This was a decent way to spend a couple hours seeing some smaller food stops off the main commercial strip in Playa del Carmen. Ulises was our guide, and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food scene in the city. We enjoyed a refreshing fruit drink (lots of flavors to choose from), tacos birria and pork, a tostada, and a marquesita (Mexican crepe that's native to the state of Quintana Roo). Overall, would have earned 5 stars if there was a little more food involved or had something besides a simple taco and tostada. We felt it was fairly expensive ($60 USD) for the food that we got, especially when you see the prices on the menus. We've done a food tour in Puerto Vallarta that had some incredible and exotic food by comparison.
