Afterward, your guide will lead you towards one of the best Taquerias in town, at which point tacos are served!
- Biblioteca Municipal Leona Vicario - We walk through this plaza to find some tacos al pastor at one of our favorite food stands.
- ANTOJITOS Playa del Carmen - At this stop we’ll try some mole.

Local food tasting tour - Very nice experience with our guide Marcel. He was very enthusiastic and had a lot of knowledge about the neighborhood. We tasted nice local food at different places.

One of the best!!! - This food tour was amazing. It wasn’t filled with commercial and big name spots. It was local families, vendors and businesses with amazingly good feel good food. Enrique was the best tour guide as well. He knew his stuff, was accommodating and gave a real in depth history of the food you were eating as well as the area. I’d do this tour everytime.

Authentic Mexican away from the crowds - Great way to experience a range of excellent Mexican dishes in authentic local places away from the madding crowds while learning about Mexican and local culture. Fabiola was great!

Wonderful food with a wonderful guide - Marcel and the walking food tour were fantastic! Marcel was very knowledgeable, polite, fun and friendly. He was one of the better tour guides we’ve had anywhere! And the food was incredible! Very authentic and at spots that we would have never found on our own. This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour and cultural experience from start to finish. Thanks Marcel!

Abby makes this tour so well with it - Abby was great - friendly, informative, funny, engaging, she clearly makes a huge effort to ensure everyone gets as much out of the experience as possible. She took us to great places off the beaten track, sampled some lovely food and drink, was caring and attentive even lending her bug spray for the occasional pesky mozzie ! A naturally warm person, born to do this, she made the tour what it was, a great way to see, smell, taste and engage the real Mexico. Well done Abby, a true pro at your job.

Excellent food! - Abbey was fantastic! We loved all of the food, there was so much to eat. And she provided us with a lot of great information on the history and culture of Playa del Carmen. We highly recommend this tour!

Perfect start for a vacation. - Every time I come to Playa Del Carmen, I always have a food tour with Eating with Carmen. Abbey was fantastic Host.. she was very accommodating to all of our restrictions as a group and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely come back again!
