An unforgettable experience for the whole family! - We visited Río Secreto with our children aged 5 and 7 and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Milo, was incredibly patient and was able to keep the children interested and excited throughout the tour. Even though the water is a little cold, it wasn’t something that stopped us from enjoying the adventure; the children adapted very well and wanted to continue exploring the caves. The walk was manageable even for them, and the beauty of the place impressed us. Undoubtedly, an activity we recommend for families looking for something different and magical.

Magical experience - Such a magical experience. I was a little scared about deep water as I’m not a great swimmer but it was totally fine and I felt very safe and cared for. 100% check out this tour. My group had elderly people in it and they had the best time and no issues with navigating the cave.

Pepe was Perfect! What a Breathtaking Experience! - This tour was a once in a lifetime experience! It was fascinating to see nature in action in the caves & felt SO privileged to witness the beauty there. Our Guide, Pepe, was so so passionate about his job & we learned so much. It Was unforgettable!

Great experience - This was an incredible experience. Our guide, Benito, was knowledgeable and took the time to guide us safely through the system. It is a well-organized experience with great equipment. Each participant was given water shoes, a life jacket, a helmet with a flashlight, and a wetsuit. The only downside to the experience was the price of the pictures at the end. It was $30.00US for one picture and $120.00US for the whole package. Although most of the photos were great it was way too expensive in my estimation.

Make this Tour a Priority in Playa Del Carmen!! - This Tour is very organized. Picking us up at our Hotel was seamless. Once you arrive at Rio Secreto and step into the Jungle , you will be giving an experience like no other. Jorge was our Guide and what a joy to have Hector a Mayan Photographer follow us through our journey with memorable photos of everything along the way. The bike rides, zip lines, repelling down into the underground Mayan World is 100% Breathtaking and Amazing. People from all over the world listen to me!! This excursion is worth every penny. You will swim is the clearest water you will ever see. Coral that is 1000’s of years old. Please respect what you see. It belongs to the Mayan Heritage & History. I haven’t stopped praising this tour & even when we arrived back in Canada I’ve shared our experience of a lifetime. I promise you will NOT Be Disappointed Roger C

Fantastic! - If you don’t have swimming abilities, this is not for you. My friend & I, 65 years plus, took a cab from our hotel in Playacar to Rio Secreto. I asked for a senior discount and to my surprise got a $15.00 discount on admission. You’ll be suited up in a wetsuit and water shoes and a hard hat with a light. Do not purchase the shoes at the ticket booth. No need as they’re included in admission price. This was a very memorable experience, well worth the money. Not however, for the faint at heart.

Beautiful weather - Lots of restaurants and a vibrant night life. The weather was perfect. It is a busy tourist spot so be aware of police presence (I felt intimidated by their machine guns). We rented a car but roads have a lot of potholes so a bit hard, better to rent a Jeep /SUV. Overall, we had a wonderful and we stayed at Hyatt Centric hotel and Grand Hyatt hotel.

Amazing trip - This was an amazing trip. Transport was on time and friendly. Once at Rio Secreto, our guide Miquel was brilliant, knowledgeable, funny, caring and helpful. The accompanying photographer, Jair, was very helpful and friendly. Good photos. The caves and underground experience was truly beautiful and impressive.

A must do in Tulum! - From the blessing by the Mayan shaman to the cathedral of stalactites and stalagmites in the crystal clear blue water, everything blew us away! Our knowledgeable and friendly guide Martín expertly lead us into an underground journey of a lifetime.

Very nice and excellent service - The experience is very good. I do not give it 5 stars for the food and because the tour started 20 minutes late (and we were asked to arrive 30 minutes early). However, we were touched by the guide Diego, who made the experience spectacular, excellent guide!! Besides being super attentive, friendly and funny it was resolute; he noticed that we were uncomfortable because the group ahead of us made a lot of noise and Diego solved this inconvenience by taking us down another path in which we did not listen, a genius!!. I also want to highlight the good attention of Wilverth, who from the website of Rio Secreto solved more than one drawback I had in a matter of seconds! Very friendly, helpful and resolute. Excellent customer service!!
