Rio Secreto was amazing.... - Rio Secreto was amazing. Before participating in this experience, I wasn’t familiar with the term cenote. I learned about stalagmites and stalactites. The staff provided all the gear you need or that they recommend (swim shoes, swim suit, walking stick, helmet and life vest. My tour guide Naomi was energetic and funny which made the experience even better.

One of a kind experience - Great experience with Diego. It was so much less stressful to go with a guide to warn you about where to step and tell you how deep the water is in advance. All you really need is a swimsuit and sunscreen to wear in Tulum. The buffet was incredible. Tulum was also nice with all the iguanas but it's a long, tiring day.

Gorgeous! Glad I did this! - Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this excursion. Scheduled last minute due to winds cancelling our snorkeling trip. The water shoes are old and holey but they work. This is more walking through waist deep water with a small amount of actual swimming. Beautiful sites but I do not recommend this for older generations. It’s a big hike and you are literally navigating rocky underwater terrain for about 1.5 hours. It was a work out! But really cool to see. Completely underground so no worries about sunscreen. Lunch at the end was a buffet and not very good but the rest of the trip was great!

Rio secreto - This place does not allow you to take your own photos and then charges 120 dollars for 25 subpar photos that they take for you. If you like being professionally scammed enjoy.
