Incredible Experience, Just Be Prepared! - The tour to the Tulum and Coba ruins was an unforgettable experience filled with history, culture, and beautiful scenery. Both sites offer unique perspectives of ancient Mayan civilization, and the cenote swim was a refreshing and serene end to the day. However, there are a few important details that were not clearly mentioned in the tour package. First, it’s essential to bring cash or (preferably pesos), as some locations—including rest stops and certain vendors—do not accept card payments. At the Coba ruins, you’ll likely need to rent a bicycle or tricycle, If half of your tour team doesn’t want to walk, which is not included in the tour pakage info. Additionally, be sure to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent that is Natural, Eco freindly, as both Tulum and Coba can be very hot and buggy. Lastly, if your tour includes a cenote visit, be aware that life jackets are not included in the package and must be rented separately with Pesos or Cash. Overall, the experience was excellent, but a bit more transparency and preparation advice would have been appreciated.
