Xenses - Excellent place to enjoy and relax.
For those who like to take pictures, cameras are found throughout the park, and you even forget to use your cell phone.
It's the second time we've been and we still love it.

Thank you. - Gren imagination and creativity of the activities. We just consider it expensive even for nationals should be more accessible

Day trip to Xenses with 4 kids! - We visited Xenses Park with four kids (ages 7–12) and two adults, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Although the park promotes itself as a half-day trip, we easily spent a full day there exploring, and we could have stayed even longer. Compared to the other “X” parks in the area, the price is quite reasonable, and the experiences are so unique that both kids and adults will come away amazed.
Practical Tips
To make the most of your visit, wear a bathing suit and water shoes the entire time. You’ll also want to bring a waterproof phone case if you plan to take pictures throughout the day. Unlike some of the other X parks, food is not included here, but there is a food court area with decent prices (better than expected for a theme park).
We chose not to book shuttle transportation, and I’m glad we didn’t. The shuttle system likely includes multiple stops at various resorts, which would eat into your day. Instead, we took a taxi from our resort directly to Xenses and back afterward. It was simple, affordable, and gave us the flexibility to arrive and leave on our own schedule. Even with a group of six, transportation was smooth and stress-free.
Experiences & Highlights
Xenses is designed to play with your senses, and the park delivers on that promise with some of the most unusual and creative activities we’ve ever tried.
Mud Bath / Mud Cave: A big hit with both kids and adults, this area was messy, fun, and unlike anything we’d done before.
The Darkened Path: One of the most memorable parts of the entire park. You walk for over five minutes in complete darkness, relying only on touch and smell. It can feel spooky for kids (and adults), but it’s worth it. At the end, you emerge into what feels like paradise: waterfalls, colorful birds, and flamingos, surrounded by the sounds of rushing water and nature. The contrast makes it an incredibly powerful experience.
Bird Flight Zip Line: An absolute highlight! You’re strapped into a harness and soar like a bird over the park, gliding across stunning scenery. Even for those who are afraid of heights or not big fans of traditional zip lines, this is approachable and thrilling without being intimidating.
Hammock Zip Line: A playful twist on zip lining where you sit in a hammock and glide down into the water. It’s not too high and was an instant favorite with the kids.
Optical Illusion Areas: Parts of the park mess with your balance and perception. There’s a walkway where it feels like you’re going uphill while you’re actually going downhill. It’s fascinating but can be disorienting, so I don’t recommend doing this if you’ve had alcohol or other substances.
Overall Impression
Our entire group — kids and adults alike — thought Xenses Park was amazing. The variety of activities, from sensory experiences to water fun to zip line adventures, meant there was something for everyone. It’s not your typical waterpark or theme park; it’s more of a one-of-a-kind adventure that engages your mind and body in new ways.
We would absolutely recommend Xenses as a must-do day trip in Mexico. For families, it’s both fun and educational; for adults, it’s playful, immersive, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. Definitely worthwhile and an experience you’ll never forget.

3 hours of unique adult adventures - Xenses offered a unique and enjoyable experience for our 4 older adults, a welcome change from typical tourist spots. We efficiently completed the park in just 3 hours and had zero wait times on a Wednesday morning. The quirky town and the dark cave were our highlights. Motion Sickness Tip: I successfully used a relief band; I would not have been able to enjoy the town and/or a few others without it.
Drawbacks: All footwear (including water socks) is strictly prohibited in the dark cave walk, forcing a lengthy barefoot walk over small rocks, rough limestone in spots and sand back to the shoe storage area. Also, the Birdflight was very short, and the waterslide pool dumps you into a surprisingly deep saltwater pool that caused eye irritation and a little panic.
Photo Tip: The package captured funny pictures, but access requires the code printed on your check-in receipt.
Overall, it was a cool, short and memorable adventure for us older folks!

Juan the guide Was rude - Juan was rude to us, he lied to us saying we had to do one of the activities on our own whilst we seen other couples doing it together, then started saying we can’t talk and that we need to be quiet when we’re there but how he said it was so rude my girlfriend ended up crying, other people were speaking during the activity, he let everyone else go through without being condescending, I spent so much money that day but I’m not sure if I would come back if I know he’s still there, apart from that I had so much fun paid for pictures bought souvenirs, ate the food it was ok.
