- Plovdiv Old Town - The tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Sofia. After a scenic drive of about an hour and a half, we will arrive in Plovdiv. Known as the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe, Plovdiv holds both cultural and economic importance due to its strategic location. Evidence of its rich history is visible throughout the city, from the Roman Theatre to the Ottoman mosques. This makes Plovdiv one of Bulgaria’s most enchanting destinations, where history and legends from various eras are evident, showcasing a glorious past while continuing to thrive and evolve. During our visit, we will explore key attractions such as the Roman Theatre, the Roman Stadium, and stroll through the Old Town, featuring Revival Period house museums and charming cobblestone streets.
- Kapana Suburb - The guided walking tour concludes in “The Trap,” where a reserved table and a refreshing craft beer at one of the renowned beerarias await you. Following the beer tasting, our guide will provide you with 2 hours of free time to explore as you wish. Afterwards, you will embark on your return journey to Sofia.
- Kamenitsa - After exploring the Old Town, our adventure continues to the oldest brewery in Bulgaria, established in 1881 and still one of the largest beer producers in the country. We will visit their craft microbrewery, located within the historic production facilities. Here, you will have the opportunity to sample their finest beers, enjoy a guided tour of the production area, and savor a delightful lunch at their restaurant.

Guided trips to significant historical landmarks and intriguing museums in Plovdiv’s old quarter are part of the itinerary. In the afternoon, we invite you to soak in the city’s distinct vibe in a region called ‘The Trap’, complete with a taste of excellent local craft beer to boost your relaxation. From there, we’ll carry on our journey towards Bulgaria’s oldest brewery, founded in 1881, and still a major player in Bulgaria’s beer industry. Here we will explore their craft microbrewery set within the remnants of their old manufacturing facilities. You’ll get to sample their top brews, take a guided tour through their production site, and enjoy a hearty lunch at their establishment.
