‘Grlo Sokolovo’ – Hiking Tour and Panoramic Drive with Viewpoints ‘Circle around Kuči’

With ‘Monte Mare Travel’, enjoy this hiking tour through the increasingly popular Mrtvica Canyon, with its serene and clear river, and the calming blue and green hues that bring peace and simplicity to visitors. A highlight is the narrow passage through the rock, created by the army in 1973. After exploring this vibrant river with its springs, waterfalls, and wild rapids, and passing through the seemingly impossible rock passage, visitors will feel fulfilled and happy, eager to return.

Begin the hiking tour. The ascent starts from Ivanova Korita at the hotel Monte Rosa. This fantastic, easy tour to Mount Lovćen offers an amazing view of the bay from the top.

After the hiking tour, optionally visit Njegoš’s mausoleum (461 steps to the top). The stairs to Njegoš’s mausoleum pass through a tunnel in the mountain, leading to the “sky under the clouds” at Jezerski Vrh – Lake Peak, offering a panoramic view – approx. 1 hour.

The tour begins in Brajići, following the path to the Kosmač fortress (an Austrian fortress from the 19th century). Enjoy a viewpoint and a short break to explore the fortress. Continue to the Hunting Lodge, climb the old Austrian road, and proceed along the straight old Austrian road to Ograđenica, where the Spiridon Monastery is located. Upon arrival, take a longer break. Then, descend via the wide macadam road to the Rustovo Monastery. From Rustovo Monastery, head to the viewpoint at Čelobrdo, then descend Jegorov path (with views of St. Stefan and Miločer) near the Praskvica Monastery.
