Join us in exploring the most captivating sites in Podgorica. We’ll start with a visit to the now-ruined Roman city of Doclea, an ancient settlement offering a panoramic view of Podgorica from Trijebac hill. From there, we’ll head to the Temple of Christ’s Resurrection, one of the largest of its kind in the region with significant historical importance despite its recent construction. We’ll then visit the Monastery Dajbabe, eerily situated inside a small cave. Following a break for local coffee at the artificial waterfall known as Niagara falls on Cijevna canyon, which now hosts a charming restaurant, we’ll proceed to the Plantaze winery. As one of the largest vineyards in Europe, here you’ll experience wine tasting inside the Sipcanik tunnel, a repurposed military air base nestled beneath a hill. Our final stop brings us to the Old Town, where you’ll witness the ruins of Nemanjica city, the Clock Tower, the Old Skaline Bridge and a monument dedicated to King Nikola Petrovic. With stunning vistas and rich historical insights, this trip promises to be unforgettable.
